So far...
The planet the PCs' house - Shenja I - calls home is covered 79% in water.
There are two major continents, one characterized by hills and low mountains, with a myriad of rivers, lakes, swamps and marshes providing ample habitats for a bewildering range of flora and fauna. The other continent's terrain is dominated by rainforests both on the flatlands and climbing high up on the mountains. There are also significant patches of savannah, where riding and speed is more prominent in hunting than in the oppressing humidity and fog of the rainforests.
The house's home is located on the forested continent, as a rather grand palace in the middle of the wilderness.
Trade rivals? Political allies? Untamed wilderness with half-primitive tribes?
The Great House's fief is the orbital station around the gas giant, the farthest planet in the system.
What's the name of the star? Planet? Continent?
PC house minor:
- more of the Guild and space-faring in general than what we usually see in the books. To that effect, possibly House Wykiru, house minor to the Tseida, with close ties to the Guild.
- more of the interplay between houses and the Guild, and potentially house-to-guild politiking
- House Apotek, provider of refined Spice products from its raw form. Influential due the influential nature of the spice.
