Tethys grabs the blade, if only just to make sure it doesn't go to waste. He then boards the ship and waits for the others.

The ship starts to rock a little and almost feels like a shiver running through it. The wood is smooth and instead of chairs or benches, leaves are arrange around for seating. The sails open up and they are made of beautiful silver leaves, that flip and turn in the breeze almost looking like waves on the ocean. Instead of doors, branches cover several ports leading down inside of the ship. There is no wheel or helm, but several places to sit on a deck that is raised and towards the front.

Cuon is an elf of the plains -- or has been for years. He's a little suspicious of things like boats and magic trees -- and boats given by magic trees. Nonetheless, he follows the others aboard to find a comfortable spot to sit and cautiously eye whatever progress may yet be made.

After a couple days sailing, the skies turn black and impending storms roll in. A shadow on the waves has been seen and is staying just out of good eyesight, but moves with an eerie quickness.

It appears to be another ship and it is darting through the waves and circling your ship.

Lightning strikes several times and after an extra bright strike, the ship is much closer. It's flag is tattered and ragged, the wood looks to be covered in barnacles and has several cracks. Shapes can be seen moving around the deck.

The ship appears almost next to yours, and you see it's crew. About half a dozen skeletons are brandishing weapons as it comes closer.

Cuon suggests, "That looks like a bad sign. However they are too close -- and fire threatens us as well..." That said, he prepares his bow and plans to send an ice bolt into the pack of skeletons, hoping that the blunt trauma of the ice will cause additional harm.
