The dogs immediately come over and stand expectantly in front of Roeban. The two toughs look shocked and quite pissed off. "Step off now or you're dead!" one says, holding his shortsword handle.

Bart will laugh out loud at the new situation the toughs have for themselves. "Haha, looks like you might have to do your own fighting boys! Gertrude would prefer it that way anyway."

The two toughs look a bit concerned, clearly outnumbered. One makes a quick sharp whistle and the dogs heel. The two men (and the dogs) step back and carefully take the stairs back up to the fourth floor. One issues a warning "Stay outta Camber turf".

From the fourth floor the gangers eye you carefully. Eventually a larger, more burly man steps out, a small keg of beer under his arm. He looks down at you, whispering to his fellow gang members.

The men on the fourth floor keep an eye on you for a while, then go back to drinking. Someone pulls out a deck of cards and several go into one of the apartments.

You make your way to the tavern. When you open the door the crowd turns and their faces quickly drop to frowns. "Where are those lasses?" One patron says. "I ain't seen Red Kirsten in a day, Molli and Brennan either."
