I was thinking a Spice refiner, like a chemist. I the Dune universe the spice is often refined into various products, like the orange gas the navigators float in, or the pills the lansraad use to extend life. I imagine whom ever is refining the spice into these products would be highly valued and probably secretive of their own methods.
