The airlock you enter by is just behind the front of the vessel, on the lower of its two decks. Once inside, you seal the airlock and pass through into the ship proper. Corridor runs to the left toward the front of the ship, right towards the rear. Opposite the airlock, a ladder leads up to the upper deck.

If there is any kind of terminal located near the airlock, TURING will try to access ship’s systems to check the status of the ship: life support, power, structural integrity, etc.

If not, TURING says "I may be able to connect to the ship’s computer in order to access shipwide systems. I likely need to go to the Bridge or to Engineering."

There are no remote access terminals, only the mechanism to open the airlock from inside. Judging by the look of the ship from the outside, TURING establishes that Command is most likely at the front , above the upper deck. The engines are probably at the rear on this lower level.

Edit: Note that there are two main decks and a third deck on top just at the front of the ship, presumably the command deck.

"Lowson, hows it looking?" the Captains voice crackles over the comm, "TURINGS and Hernandez’ locators are showing clearly. Any sign of life?"

We just got in Captain, she's pretty quite in here kinda spooky. I'll run the bioscanner as we make our way to the bridge.

"Sounds good. Stay in touch,"

"So..." Alicia mutters, catching up from a few steps behind everyone. "We're in the creepy ship, yay. What do we do now?" She takes a quick glance around, looking for signs of effort or any apparent damage to the ship that could hint on why or what happened. Independently, she sighs, her left hand unconsciously resting over the crowbar hanging from her utility belt.

"Maybe the bot can have look things up from Command? Maybe files from the security feed survived or somethin'. I could also try to diagram their flight algorithms, to be sure they showed up here mid-jump like us." She shrugs. "Though, to be honest, for this quantity of junk to be floating around, I can't see another reason."

Over the gentle hum of the ship, you suddenly hear a skittering sound in the walls...

OOC:
Let's try some fear checks/ 1d100, roll equal or under your fear score to save.
Mar 3, 2019 8:20 pm
" Hold on, guys. Do you hear that?" She asks, halting all movement but her gripping on the crowbar.
OOC:
I failed the Fear check. Just to confirm, I'd gain one stress, right?

Rolls

Fear check - (1d100)

(71) = 71

OOC:
Yes, gain 1 stress if you fail. (Page 7 states 1d10 but page 25 says 1. We'll go with 1)

Edit: Consulting with the game makers, it should be 1d10. I think I'll take it on a case by case, and in this situation, 1 seems fine.

Carter freezes. He did, indeed, hear that. And he did not like it.

Rolls

Fear - (1d100)

(75) = 75

Maybe rats or other vermin in the ship? Trevor says softly trying to listen for the sound again.

Rolls

Fear Save 35 - (1d100)

(92) = 92

OOC:
Also keep in mind that when in presence of an Android, roll twice for fear and take the worst result.
Mar 4, 2019 2:48 am
"Intriguing..."

Without hesitation, TURING walks over and knocks on the wall, somewhere near where she hears the skittering. She then listens for a response.
OOC:
Successfully saved.

After TURING knocks, the skittering stops.
OOC:
As Sax has not yet posted, I'll rule that he stays on board as backup, until the player drops by.

Hernandez - waiting on your fear check.

Does the Bioscanner pick up the moving in the wall? It reads life signs within 100m.
Mar 6, 2019 8:14 am
Lowson consults his bioscanner, one single blip is indicated, several paces to the right of where TURING knocked (in the direction of the rear of the ship)
Mar 6, 2019 6:27 pm
"Well..." Whispers Alicia, loudly enough for her companions to hear. "This place is terrifying. We're not going to simply stand around, yeah? What do we do? Try to find Command?"
Mar 6, 2019 6:48 pm
What ever that was showed up on the scanner so most likely some kinda ship vermin. Trevor reassures everyone and he lets out a sigh to calm himself. I dont think we need to chase mice around the ship, lets make our way to command and figure out whats going on. After that we can split up and search the ship.
