TURING will begin running diagnostics on Kranot.
OOC:
Yikes! That’s a big stinking failure.

Shocked d by the empty logs, it takes a few seconds for Akira to register Alicia's question.
"Any-thing..? No, a no-thing. Just like the void outside... Sorry, terror makes me a pretentious poet it seems. The logs are all gone, routinely deleted. Only entry since the new log started today is for some strange energy readings in the hold. Considering our recent events, I dont recommend checking it out.

Once Corporal Sax distributes tasks, Akira is assisting Turing with Kranot.

"I see what you did Turing, but that is current protocol. These have very outdated i/o pipes with only a single input and output, you need to enter the maintenance code in serial instead of paralel. "
OOC:
Guess Akira doesnt know what he is doing either --_-;;

TURING and Hernandez finally get connected to the Mk 4 Kranot, but the code is either corrupted or deleted, nothing can be found.

Dr Vasser searches the room, but finds no vents other than the one Lowson is inspecting.

The engineer scans to vent for life signs but nothing shows. Peering through, he sees a crawl space some four foot high, running parallel to the main corridor.

Alicia uncertainly nods at the Corporal as she jogs at the Pilot seats. "I'll do my best, but like... I wouldn't get my hopes up with this piece of junk." She says, finally being able to control herself a bit more as the woman focuses on doing her magic. Or trying, at least.

The ship will probably not start, but maybe I can follow the initialization process and try to figure it out from there what's potentially wrong.

Alicia determines that the engines are not responding at all. It would take a trip to the engine room to diagnose the problem. She is able to find a basic ship schematic, indicating the engine room is on the lower deck at the rear of the ship.
Mar 26, 2019 4:41 pm
"We gotta get off this ship!" he says trying to keep his hands from shaking "but there is no way in hell i'm going through that door until that thing is gone." the sight of the monster had deflated any fight that Trevor had, his only thoughts were on keeping that thing away.
Mar 26, 2019 4:44 pm
"I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm not finding any other escape routes out of this room."
Mar 27, 2019 3:47 pm
"Whatever information the Kranot Mk 4 unit may have contained appears to be irretrievable. We can also assess Pander, but I theorize we will achieve similar results."

TURING looks to Lowson. "I am not a military or security A.I., but I am programmed with basic combat protocols. I can attempt to distract the unidentified biological to afford the rest of the crew time to escape. However, given the condition of Pander, it seems the unidentified biological can overpower androids with ease. I cannot guarantee I would be able to distract it for long."

"Can we access the life support system from here? We are all wearing suits, we could just suffocate the thing then head back to the ship."
Mar 28, 2019 6:34 pm
"I find that idea preferable to combat..."
Mar 28, 2019 6:57 pm
Alicia sighs in dissatisfaction at the lack of any real progress. "Well, I found some schematics. But as I thought, the engines are not responding. Like, at all." She shrugs as she spins around on her own chair, looking at the rest. "Can we access the life system, though? Why don't you try making yourself useful for once, Hernandez?" Says Brown annoyed, not particularly with him. With another sigh, the pilot goes on with informing the rest of the crew. "If it is of any interest to any of you, the schematics are about the engine room itself. In case anyone wants to check it out or something, it's right here on the screen-thing."
Mar 29, 2019 8:15 am
"Usefull? That's rich, as it hardly seems you have improved our current predicament either."

Besides, I'm willing to bet it was you who karked up the nav calculations and gotten us in this kark-hole in the first place...

"But I'll concede that its a plan worth trying. Should the life support system not co-operate, we could always brute force it and open a airlock remotely or by hand and let the void do the work for us. "
OOC:
Is it me, or do the new post email alerts come very late if at all?

There is an issue with the email alerts that Keleth is aware of, so I wouldn't rely on them.

"Brown, where does this vent lead? Can we use it to make our way back to the airlock, without using the main corridors?" Sax asks leaning over her and looking at the schematics she's brought up on the command screen.

"Captain Harris, can you breach the airlock from The Butterfield? Venting that thing into space might be our best bet. Orders, sir?"
OOC:
We are all in Vac-Suits correct? How much air supply do we have left?
Mar 30, 2019 10:51 pm
OOC:
Actually, I think I am in a Hazard suit. I don't know if that has an air supply or just an air filter.
Mar 31, 2019 2:03 am
The schematic is very basic, only highlighting the cockpit and engine room at the rear. A computer check might find a more detailed file but the computer ‘experts’ are not having much luck.
Mar 31, 2019 2:07 am
"Negative Corporal. The link is currently attached and the airlock needs to be opened manually unless you’ve taken the ships controls. Orders? Get the hell out of there. There’s no crew alive on that ship, we have no moral obligation here, but be careful."

Another scream comes from further away. Vasser is certain he hears it comes from the vent.
