So I've had a decent amount of sleep since I wrote this question and can actually feel that multiple synapses are firing - yay! What strikes me, in this more lucid condition, is that I had been playing the game as though it's actually been at least a day since we first encountered the pirates. So it's good to realize that I'm just, you know, totally off-base about everything! :D I would not, for example, have had Cass send a message to Tulak about Darcy if I'd been thinking that only a few hours had passed. Within the context of that timeframe, that smacks of a kid tattling to Mom, lol.

I guess it seems so much longer to me because we've been posting so frequently and, really, a ton of stuff has happened.

Since there has been no response to that so far, I don't mind if you want to just pretend that never happened.

Yes, there's been a lot happening but I think it all was in a pretty short timeframe. I could add timestamps at certain points to indicate how much time has actually passed since the first ambush, if y'all want me to. With the split group there needs to be some vagueness about time passage however, so I can properly fit the groups back together

I think timestamps are a good idea, at least within each thread. All I really need is an occasional statement like, "3.5 hours since pirate ambush" to keep me oriented. I won't be keeping a log and time-lawyering you when the two threads eventually merge; I just want to stop posting stuff that looks moronic in the context of the timing. :D
