Ooooh fuck. The scene continues with a fresh idea.
After marbo closes his eyes for the final time, drifting towards a neutron star, at peace with the decision he made to keep the crew safe, the screen fades black. Theres a brief moment of blackness before the screen is drowned in white light, the sound of liquids sloshing and draining and a hatch depressurizing and opening. An alien scrambles across the sterile white plastic floor cough, you only see him from behind as hes on his hands and knees, and he stands up, the light causing the shot to only show his shadowy outline. he continues to cough liquid out of his lungs, then he stretches his arms. Then another pair of arms stretchs out from in front, where they were previously hidden.
He grabs a communicator off a nearby desk console and pings it. "Commander. Zlam. You didnt catch me."
OOC:
Zlams clone is exactly that, a clone, with contingency programming in his brain to allow him to know the last 20 minutes of zlams life, thanks to a neural uplink used to save designs and schematics straight from zlams original head. Its like a black box recorder. But its not the same zlam entirely. This one wasnt born biologicaly in the ethanol seas of Nemur II, so he would be... Orange and blue. But just as awkward and medically talented.
But if marbo does die from this, then i intend to bring a new character in.
I really hope he doesnt though. I just dont want these slugs to kill the crew haha
