I do accept your virtual hug moonbeam :) Im not like, sad or anything, i just was really into this game, and like i said, i havent had a good cry in way too long, so i think i just needed to drain the old tear ducts. Its healthy to cry, and im happy that im part of something so important that it can actually make me cry. Its amazing, probably the best rpg group ive been a part of.

There's a kitty in our thread if it would make you feel better Robb.

Well, someone had to kill these guys. Y'all are in protocol paralysis, whereas she knew what needed to be done. We have their main location, and they were hostile. She saw the parasite attack a friendly surgeon. That means we cannot negotiate with these things.

Cass is upset, I know. But Kendall isn't space fleet, so this was the logical conclusion for her. Also, now she is stranded on the space fleet ship, thus causing her to become a (sort of) crew member now.
You did exactly the right thing. Cass was hamstrung by regulations, and she was about nuke her career by blasting them mostly out of emotion.

I might break down and read the other thread honestly. I feel like im the only one whos out of the loop as to whats going on with the away team. I took another smoke break, had some coffee and a donut, and i feel better. im still so choked up over the current situation though. Like, in the tv series version in my head, this is season finale before a 1 year hiatus kind of stuff.

I know, this has been brutal. If Marbo dies, we're going to have to hire a grief counselor.

Since Spinach has left the building, does anyone else know if there's still another pirate ship out there? The one that we captured and then apparently abandoned?
Mar 19, 2019 10:39 pm
OOC:
I thought that it was still out there.
Mar 19, 2019 10:39 pm
So did I. So I'm wondering if it is manned with more pirates again.

Marbo has to survive, otherwise the fandom will be pissed, and the zlambano shippers will be even sadder.
Mar 19, 2019 10:54 pm
Yeah, right now, the only significant subtext is him creepily staring at her in silence. That's not enough to sustain a fandom.

Moira lied that Cass ordered Marbo to live. Does that help?

Alexa! Play Dido!

I feel like we should apologize to the people on the away team thread for hogging the OOC thread with all our angst and drama. It's like fucking John Hughes movie in here.

Im clearly Molly Ringwald.

A violent flashback.

Here. Some of my current favorites.

Two Steps from Hell - Skyworld
The Hu Band - Yuve Yuve Yu
The Addams Family Musical Soundtrack
Which. If I may geek out for a moment. We're doing this show this summer and I'm Wednesday :D But the coolest part was seeing this from the cheap seats in the Oriental theater in Chicago. Nathan Lane played Gomez!! And at the beginning of the show, a huge wooden mural of the house slams onto the stage, and the family walks out on it. Right? Wrong! The house never fell. And from the cheap seats, we got to see Nathan freaking Lane make wild hand motions with an extremely flustered stagehand, and then, in the blink of an eye, take Bebe Newerth's Morticia by the hand, snap into character, and charmingly lead his family on stage.

Honestly I don't think I'll ever buy a full-priced ticket. Seeing the realistic side, especially with professionals, is amazing.

...

But yeah. Music.

I still have such a soft spot for all the modern broadway musicals that are getting people into theater by being hilarious and relatable. Be more chill is amazing, Dear Evan Hansen is HILARIOUS! and of course Hamilton. I was a theater tech kid, i couldnt do the acting side as well as my ballet classes, and my ballroom classes, and school.

Ah! See, they just called us theater rats haha.

Wonderful that you took dance! Nobody appreciates that for the guys. I can be led quite well, but I'm still gangly even as an adult, and it shows when I move haha

Im definitely familiar with theater rats haha. Im a gangly person myself (6'1", 140 lbs on a good day), so finding dance partners was sometimes hard. Its made me appreciate shorter people though, especially during a tango, when you have to step to their stride, and you realize how much more walking they have to do in comparison to yourself XD

Like marching band on either end of the row XD
