Moonbeam says:
Marbo was in the room when the plan was created. Is he just disoriented from injury and medication?
I think i missed it. Ill play it off as disorientation from medication. Honestly i have such a shitty irl memory but i can go back and doublecheck. I know when we were forming a plan marbo was incredibly emotional, and now hes on pain meds and going stir crazy.

He would probably know the plan. If not, Belka might need to do a brain scan on him
Well, I think we all know that probably couldn't hurt, regardless...

Okay, if you decide to play it this way, you might be boxing yourself in so that Marbo can't play a productive role in the coming events and might actually hinder the plan. Which is fine, if that's what you're going for, just wanted to put that out there.

What Moonbeam is trying to say is, please don't open another air lock.

LOL. I'm actually saying that since Marbo was in the room where it happened (heh), I don't see a good reason to play it like he doesn't know what's going on. But that's Robb's decision.

I went back and re-read. Marbo was present and coherent so he will be a cooperative productive part of the plan.

The air in the ready room is getting a bit bad. Maybe you should just open a window

I've been dead. It was sort of relaxing.

This may be so obvious as to be assumed, but I think the bridge crew on the Potential and the three crew members on the pirate ship should all have sidearms, given the circumstances.
Mar 25, 2019 7:46 pm
I was so tempted to have Marbo just poop his pants out of stubbornness.
Mar 25, 2019 7:48 pm
It's not like we haven't collectively done that already, metaphorically.

Someone has started a Star Trek adventures game. I bet it's going to be boring compared to this game
Mar 27, 2019 3:48 pm
Aren't most games?
Mar 27, 2019 3:57 pm
True.
The real question is, will the crew from that game be able to beat the Potential for Disaster in a fight?
(Probably yes)

Come now. We curse dice, have ridiculous complexes, and are a bit crazy.

We may lose the battle, but we'd break their spirits in the meantime.
Mar 27, 2019 4:01 pm
I don't know if them watching as your ship goes up in flames before you even make contact is going to break their spirits
Mar 27, 2019 4:01 pm
And we'd have a lot more fun being beaten than they would have beating us. It would be like that DS9 episode when Sisko fields the station crew as a baseball team against the Vulcans.

The idea of a crossover one-shot is actually pretty hilariously enticing.
