You can rig up the ship with booby traps without a roll. If you are getting boarded, we will do the roll then (I assume at that point Moira will roll 4D6 - expert, prepared, help)

If anyone's got a pressure sensor, once we're all gone, mah men can set one in tha transporter room. Then we could rig tha fire doors ta engage when there's pressure, instead when tha usual alarm's called. Quick re-wire, since there's an alarm in tha room anyway, with a one-digit change ta tha bypass code fer when all's said an' done. Should take twenty minutes.

Then! If we borrow a gas sample from tha good doctor, let tha replicator learn it, get yeh ta bypass its danger code before we leave, then if anybody gets inta a room with one, all our men'll hafta do is call fer tha doctor, as tha trigger. Messy, sure, but here's hopin' tha Antarctica can help us in that case. Ten minutes.

And finally, Commander, ah can disable warp tha same way ah'll be disablin' tha Antarctica. Teach mah people how to bypass. Probably a hammer. But then if tha pirates make it past all tha rest, they cannae leave tha system. Another ten. Whaddya think, Commander?

Cass says, "Yes, yes! Yes! Do that. All of it. Make it that way. Do it so." She felt she was circling in on a kind of catch phrase, but just barely missing it.

After dismissing the team, Cass checked in on the bridge and then went to the ready room, where she hailed the Antarctica. She thought it would be a good idea to let them know about the Potential's booby trap strategy, in case they wanted to employ a similar strategy.

Marbo sets one of the grenades down on the nearest table.

"Grenades. Faster acting than vent systems. More concentrated. Not sure of lethality though. Recommend friendlys wear respiratory protection"

Marbo lays a datapad with the chemical makeup of the grenades gas on it as well.

"Weaponized replicators. Dangerous thought. Could be interesting."

Ah'll replicate tha antidote, too, if yeh like. Dunnae worry, Doctor. It'll be like knockin' a patient out until they can get treatment. Only with pirates.

I'll assume Marbo is willing to share? She'd only need a few drops. Even something left in the lab. But if this is the case, I'll avoid spamming the thread. Moira will head off to inform her folks of the protocols for the transporter room, then take care of the replicators and the intentional warp trap (which she will also explain to her folks.) What shall I roll? Separately, or one bunch of Lasers?

You don't need to roll for the antidote. Replicating a known formula should not be a problem. What exactly are you trying to explain to your people?

Just, what to hit with the hammer to get warp to work again, and a warning about what we're doing to the replicators so they know. And then I'll choose the best electrical guy and tell him to wire a pressure sensor into the fire door emergency button. Based on real things I've seen, it should only be a couple wires.

I will bring the replicator code to the Antarctica, by the way, in case things go south.

Sounds good. For brevity, I'll say I explained how to strategically booby trap the Antarctica, and what we did, to their engineers via video chat.

Moira finishes briefing her folks in Engineering. All that's left is to modify the codes with Commander Cassano.

Cass gives her a not-very-convincing smile. "I guess I'm doing as well as could be expected, under the circumstances." Considering that I already delivered four crew members to the enemy and am now sending several teams to possibly meet the same fate, she thinks. Realizing that she probably just telegraphed that thought with her facial expression, she just sighs tiredly. "Doing the best that I can, and hoping it will be enough."

Commander. The Cap'n isn't here. Yeh keep actin' like yeh aren't enough, but yeh hafta be. Yes. Yeh broke protocol. Yes. Yeh might'a screwed over Zephyr an' the others.

Yeh also responded ta a distress signal a one a our ships. Yeh showed great pose with tha Lieutenant Commander. And yeh haven't given up yet.
