Chapter IIa: Absolute Disaster

Commander. Zlam. I have an idea. Hold him here please!" Marbo sprints towards the armory, where several of the modified tranquilizer rifles are sitting in a weapons rack. As soon as he gets there, he intends to grab four, carrying one in a combat ready position with his lower arms, and the other three in his upper arms to distribute to the crew as he gets to them.

Moira, you grab him and quickly attempt to pull him off of Cass. You can see some burn holes in her uniform collar and some horrible looking areas on her neck and face where the acidic saliva burned her. Darcy comes up to you and grabs the man as well, helping you to free Cass from under him. Suddenly, his eyes fly open again, much too soon for a direct hit with a phaser, and he immediately starts to attack Darcy, as she is the closest target.

Laser Feeling: The parasite can make the body much more resistant than usual and can allow it to shake off stun much faster than usual but it can't make it immortal. If you want to kill it, a phaser on highest setting should still be enough to vaporize the body, including the parasite. If you want to keep the parasite alive for studying, a slightly lower but still deadly setting should kill the pirate but not immediately destroy the parasite.

Marbo, having run to the doorway and realized that its blocked by a containment field, turns around and runs back to where the commander and the infected are in combat. Looking around for some way to help, his hand brushes the tool kit hes carrying, full of slightly heavy and awkwardly shaped medical equipment.

He knows the rules about intended use of equipment, but this is a special occasion.


"Commander! Watch out!" he yells, as all four arms begin a flurry of grabbing equipment from the satchel and flinging it at the thing that is trying to kill his commander.

Cass scuttles out of the way, wincing in pain from the burns. She's heading toward the area where Marbo's medical equipment is set up, trying to stay away from other people.

Marbo throws the equipment at the fighting pole of bodies on the ground but in his panic, he is not very effective. In fact, most of his equipment just hits the ground around the people without any effect at all.

Mourad, you manage to hold the man back so he can't bite Darcy but you don't manage to get a good hold on him or anything. He is still a danger to the two of you.

Laser Feeling: The safest way is to just shoot him with a phaser but in order to get a clean shot off, you will need to get him away from Moira and Darcy. Right now there's too much unpredictable movement.

The man keeps struggling against Moira and Darcy and you can feel that you're losing your grip on him.
Moira, he spits his acid at your hands, trying to get you to release him.

MArbo continues to throw whatever he can find at the thing in a futile attempt to help his comrades
