Cass, you crawl away from the fight, towards the medical supplies. Suddenly, there's a man next to you. In your condition you can't really focus to see him but you hear his voice, speaking calmly: "Commander, careful now! You'll be fine!" Then, his voice gets louder and harsher as he yells: "Dr. Marbo! The commander needs your assistance here!"

You don't feel anything else at the moment. Doesn't mean nothing else is wrong but right now, the acid burns take up your attention.

The pain is bad, really bad. Cass hears whoever is trying to sooth her call to Marbo to come and help her, but all she can think about is that everything has turned to shit. That, and the pain.
"What's happening?" she demands of whoever is next to her. "Did they get him?" She's not even sure she's speaking loudly enough to be heard. It's hard to hear over the pain.

Cass snorts. She knows bullshit when she hears it. She wonders how the pirate is still operational when they had him so outnumbered, but it would take too much energy to express that.

Marbo, if you want to ignore Cass for now and keep trying to help in the combat instead, give me a roll as well. You won't have help for your roll, though. If you choose to help Cass, tell me what you want to do and give me a roll for that.
I will post the resolution of the combat after those rolls have been made. One way or another, the fight will end.

Moira lets out a primal, guttural cry when the acid hits her hands. She attempts to take advantage of her zaftig figure to get good grounding, then take advantage of their combined momentum to hurl him to the ground.

Sorry, yes, shooting into combat, and the phaser is set to low kill. Kendall would then proceed to stab the host body's head repeatedly with her "pen" once the body goes limp.Last edited March 15, 2019 2:45 pm
