Moira tells Darcy her intent, leaving Davis on the bridge in case anything requiring an understanding of technical jargon comes up. Before she leaves, she locks eyes with the acting captain.
Exhaust all other options first. Ah'll comm yeh and letcheh know how this works.
She scurries to the medbay, simply hefting the synth-skin, and bursts through the doors, much to the dismay of a couple nurses.
Doctor Zlam, ah lied! Tha folks transported over are probably fine fer now. Where's yer guest? Ah'm tryin' ta prevent a shootout!
She sees the Commander in the Plastic Tube and pauses.
Am ah, uh, interruptin' somethin?

For the record, I'm rolling Feelings to convince Darcy not to open fire immediately. Prepared since this is a deep-seated belief of Moira's, and Expert because she's in her late 30s. She's been with Spacefleet longer than Darcy has, so she's been breathing the handbook longer, too. If that doesn't work, please disregard as needed.Edit: I guess it's better than nothing.

Cass is so outraged by what Moira is saying that she tries to sit up, only to have her forehead kiss the uncomfortably warm plastic barrier. That doesn't do much to dilute her anger. "She gave up my carefully protected camouflage to engage a ship that hasn't demonstrated a clear threat to the Antarctica?" She raises her hands in the air as much as the tube will allow. "What is wrong with everybody? Did Capt. Darcy suck all the tactical and protocol knowledge out of the ship when he went into stasis?"
All right, this nonsense had to stop. "Kendall, stand by. I'm working on it." Cass hits her comm badge [I'm assuming she's wearing it. If not, she will use the comm in the tube, which I assume she can see now that she's not in a blind panic] and says, "Commander Cassano to the bridge. I am resuming command. Report."

Cass, you receive a reply from Darcy. Kendall, Moira, Marbo, I think you would all be able to hear it since you are one way or the other communicating with Cass.
"Cassano, shut the hell up!" Her voice sounds angry, her usual professionalism dropped. There is a pause for a few seconds before she continues, her voice calm and professional again. "My sincere apologies, commander. I am in the middle of a communication with the pirates and your comm was undermining my authority. You are in no condition to take command. I will brief you on what is happening shortly. Do not contact the bridge again until I give the all clear. Darcy out"

Well, once robot Cass gets working, you can retake command. Or the helmet thing, I guess. And you can supervise Moira's experiment (although you would officially need Darcy's approval since she's acting captain. Without Robb, I can't convince Marbo to clear me to retake command, though, and it sounds like there's no time for the helmet thing now. And Cass won't engage in or suborn mutiny without more facts than she has. But she wouldn't just accept being kept in the dark when Moira has just told her that Darcy is squaring off with an unknown ship, either. "Marbo, you're going to clear me to resume command of this vessel from here. You've said I'm perfectly fine, just at risk of infection. Well, there's no reason I can't be acting captain from here. Contact Darcy directly and inform her that I am resuming command.
"Moira, get whatever that is up and running, pronto. I think we're going to need every tool we can get our hands on to resolve this situation.
"Kendall, can you hear what's going on between the other ship and ours?" She doesn't say it, but she doubts that Kendall isn't illicitly listening to the comm channel. She hopes she'll share what she's hearing.

She leaves her message notifications on full volume, and opens the schematic for Dr. Zlam.
Et's easy, Marbo. Scoop the bugger out'a confinement an' plop'im in here. He should be able ta reach the artificial synapses with whatever 'e connects ta biologicals with.
She hops up, calling to Cassano as she runs out of the room.

Moira's attempt is to hastily cobble together a small holodeck program of Captain Darcy commanding his daughter to chill and recall protocol. She'd be sending this through the comm, so if he keeps the ridiculous hair, no worries ;)She will only be using her own programs and previous knowledge, since she knows that Little Darcy has her programs on alert. I'm not sure if you want Lasers for tech or Feelings for bluff. But with 250 programs, her good toolbelt, and the knowledge that Little Darcy knows some of the program access, I'm hoping I can roll at least "Expert". If I need to omit "Prepared," no worries.

I'm not quite sure what your plan here is. Do you want to convince her Darcy is awake or just make a program to make her rethink her possible actions?I feel like both Lasers for making it and Feelings for influencing her would apply but making you roll both seems assholish. If I have to choose one, give me a Feelings but be aware that even if you get a full success, depending on what exactly you are trying to do, she might get pushed.
