Brett realises that more creatures are in the gross fluid, and attempts to fire his pistol behind the two of them to hopefully take one down. After doing so, he'll desperately throw himself against a bar, so as to break one off.After shooting, Brett looks up to see Will with rope. Oh thank The Computer for rope! Hurry, tie it on a rail and throw the rest down!"

Hearing the new guy above them on the walkway, Cart changed his focus to trying his best to chase away the creature with his whip. "Redeeming rope, yes, all praise loyal citizen!"

Will attack creature, attack roll made earlier. Not going through the gap, but will wait for Will's rope.

Cart successfully drives the creature away for the moment. Brett fires another wild blast, but can't quite get to Wills rope just yet. Will ties his rope to the handrail and tosses the other end into the sludge near Cart.

With the small reprieve granted by having chased the creature, Cart wasted no time in climbing up the rope, and hoped that Brett was not far behind him.

Cart makes climbing the rope look incredibly difficult, but somehow, he manages and is able to hoist himself back onto the walkway.
He leaves behind a slick residue of sewage all over everything he touched on his way up including the rope and the ledge of the walkway.

Safely on the walkway, Cart put aside his whip and pulled out his pistol, intending to assist Brett in chasing away any attacker still after Brett when he attempts to climb.

As Brett moves closer while Will ties the rope, he sees another hostile bot swimming towards him. In fear and anger, Brett fires at the foul machine while trying to swim backwards to the rope.

From above Cart can see the vermin he whipped away and one of the G8R-bots approaching Brett from within the sludge.

Cart blasts the G8R-bot in it's long snout succesfully keeping him at bay for the moment. The leathery skin burns away revealing a chainsaw of teeth.
Brett easily climbs the rope, but when he attempts to hoist up he slips on the slippery ledge. He loses his grip and hits his chin on the walkway before falling back into poop river.
Right next to the vermin.
