As Cass finishes speaking, Alex nods. "I've run this exercise before, though not for quite a few years. It's a popular one among the diplomatic corps." She draws a deep breath and begins.
"Weakness. I'm too impulsive. I rely on gut instinct and intuition rather than approaching a problem from multiple angles and considering the options dispassionately. It can be very powerful when I'm right. When I'm not..." she spreads her hands, and shrugs. "I end up at the back end of the galaxy as cannon fodder for parasitic slug pirates. Though after the last few days, I might have to say that my weakness is that I can't hit anything with a phaser to save my life, unless it's set to 'disintegrate', in which case apparently I'm a crack shot."
She shrugs. "Strength? I understand people. I have a good sense of their motivations, when they're not being completely honest, what might put them at ease. Or, often better, what will make them uneasy. Some -- well, more than some -- call it being manipulative. I call it being good at my job."
