Recursion is a constant state of warfare, resetting the Alamo periodically as the Mexican horde overwhelms the Texan defenders
Characters are either born there, or have forgotten where they really came from, and are trapped in the repeating saga. In the bowels of the Alamo, there is an inapposite gate to the Gloaming.
Rio Grande City - the southern part of the recursion is boundaries by the Rio Grande river. On its northern bank, a newly constructed boom town, base for the Texan armies invasion of Mexico.
San Antonio de Bexar - on the northeast edge of the recursion, just to the west of the Alamo, a city damaged and still recovering from the Mexican invasion 15 years earlier.
Tombstone - on the western edge, Tombstone is the home of the gunfight at the OK corral. The local events repeat the fight and the confrontations that lead up to it periodically.
