Before they leave to Greyton, Gilbert calls the investigators to be updated information about their findings. Touching Jason's argument, he speaks by charging his words with the weight of objectivity.
"No one would have prevented Alyssa from marrying him instead of me. If she decided for me, it's because she wanted that way. Alyssa was a person of strong character and capable of assuming her responsibilities. She was reserved, but she was not that kind of person who would hide a serious thing from his family for a long time. If she really doubted that Timothy is my son, she should have said that to me since the beginning. If Jason had any reason to claim paternity, he has only to raise the issue and face me in court. Nobody would prevent him from doing this."
Gilbert finds something in Alyssa´s study. This could be the newspaper page Elisabeth was talking about. It is not a newspaper of Portland. It is a newpaper of northern Maine. A brief news has been circled in pen.
On August 11 1927, just 4 days before Alyssa's suicide, an old sailing schooner, called Acadia, attempted a fishing trip in the Bay of Fundy. The Acadia is one of the few remaining schooners, whose propulsion has not been motorized yet. The crew was caught by a sudden and unexpected storm. The fishermen lost control of the ship, which crashed into the Bay Rocks, 5 miles off and island called Coney Island. The fishermen saved themselves by using the ship's dories. The fishermen of the Acadia are from the coastal village Greyton.

OOC:
Are you going by train or by car? Train is faster, since cars were quite slow for long travels. However, the trip by car is doable.
