Reminder, GP doesn't do funky dice math very well. Stick to standard rolls, though you can separate rolls with a comma.

I think I might have NAMED the roll '1d20+5' and then rolled 1d8+3.
Quick question though about grappling. How hard is it to cast spells while grappled? Do you want to ignore the 1 and just go forward or . . .?

We'll ignore and go forward. However, I would prefer a character with legs for the sake of the map. Are you alright with me using the other model as a sub for the battlemap?

Grappling does not affect spell casting or attacks. It just gives the condition: Tldr: grappled = speed 0, grappler can move grappled creature.
when grappled combined with prone, the target isn’t getting up unless they break the grapple, which takes an action.

Can an unarmed attack deal lethal damage in the form of choking? I.e. can Greta choke the Imperius to kill her?

I would say rather than damage, that is a prolonged grapple check. Probably at least 5 successful choke attempts result in a kill. So 5 successful grapples in a row.
