Character discussion and Generation

So I'm going with a halfling ranger (he has ok charisma). I'm trying to fill in the character sheet, and I'm getting confused. Do I only add the class Skills? Sorry for newbie questions, Ive never played Pathfinder, only had the book a few days.

If its going to be too much hassle having me join the game, Ill understand if you want to pick up a more experienced player, I dont want to kill the game by being super slow and asking a zillion questions

You should list all skills you have ranks in. For class skills, if you have at least one rank, you get a +3 bonus (add to the miscellaneous modifier).

So anything that’s not a class skill I don’t put in the sheet (like acrobatics for example)

Do check out the house rules. the big one is minum hp, so you get 4 more, and Automatic bonus progression.

Ahh yeah I was just coming back to adjust the hP. What is automatic bonus progression?

Basically you get half as much gold as to start (So 5200gp), but you get bonuses as you level up instead of having to buy them. (So +x enhancements on weapons and armour, cloaks of res, ring of protection, amulet of natural armour and stat boosting items.) This lets you use item slots and money on more fun unique stuff.

Going through the rules and setting. First idea was a Gozrey favored Undine twinned summoner but with the rule of only one NPC and the automatic pregression items, i think too many tools of that build would be unavailable.

I'll keep digging a bit more.

Would you allow the lightning subdomain for a Storm Druid with the prerequisite trait?
