Aukan scratches the lower part of his chin, fascinated by Welsh story

Impressed but sceptical by the creature, description Aukan can't help but ask Welsh:

And this ... Centaur...thing... Will just make you a hero with nothing in exchange?

"I mean...I guess? I have no idea. Now that I think about it, he seemed pretty proud of himself for even doing what he did."
Jun 19, 2020 6:56 pm
Welsh shakes his head. "So...did you guys find the bad guys? What's the plan?" He looks around trying to get his bearings again.

Welsh, you are completely disoriented after being zapped back, at this point you probably wouldn't even be able to find your way back to Red Larch. Luckily for you, Vanri also heard the laughter and she's able to guide you in the right direction.

You all walk further into the forest, after a short while the laughter and voices talking in common is loud enough for all of you to hear.
OOC:
If you want to sneak up towards the voices give me a stealth check, otherwise let me know what you'd like to do

'In stories power normally comes at a cost, though giving you power explains the shadow behind you I saw.'

As they approach the laughter she pauses, putting a finger to her lips, before starting to sneak forward, only to for her co-ordination still be affected slightly by the booze, and making more noise than hoped.

Welsh nods, then silently points in the direction Vanri mentioned. He notices Nadya stumble, and grabs her hand to steady her. "Careful." He presses his finger to his lips, indicating its time for sneaky sneak.

OOC:
Hahaha, perfect
Nadya, you hear that the bandits go quiet as you approach. You get within eyesight of them and you realise that their are four human men, sitting around a bonfire in front of a cave opening with their swords on their laps and whetstones in their hands. You hear an impatient growl from off to the side and you notice a wagon with a cage on top of it and inside the cage is a black bear.

The men look very alert and before you have a chance to do anything, one of them spots you. "OI! WHO ARE YOU!?". They grip their swords and look ready to strike. Judging by their eyes all solely being on Nadya, it seems like they haven't clocked you yet, Welsh.
OOC:
I'll roll perception checks to see if they spot you Welsh, although they'd need a nat 20 with that roll. If the rest sneak, I'll say that the DC now to beat is 14

Following Nadya and Welsh, the Goliath tries to be as sneaky as he can, wich proves a hard task for his big shape.

Trying his best not to make noise, Aukan follows behind them.

Welshes warning comes oo late. She may as well try and make the most of the situation.

'Oh finally, thank Ogmha. I've been looking for hours. Please can you men help, I've be robbed and my horse slain' The lie slips out of her lips instinctively as she stumble out of the bushes acting fatigued.
OOC:
Gonna blame the low roll of the goliath spotted right behind her :P

Welsh, recently pumped up by his visit with Ekorn, is ready to be a hero. He holds his wand at the ready, and begins channeling teal and magenta energy into it. I’ll hold an Eldritch Blast for the first bandit that moves aggressively toward my friends.

OOC:
Lol, big guy can't hide to save his life
Jun 20, 2020 7:21 pm
Nadya, the men laughs at you. Leering at you, one of the men licks his lips and motions for you to come forward, "Aww, I'm so sorry to hear that little girl...come over to the fire and we'll make sure to make you feel bet-. His eyes goes wide and shakily he points his sword forward and stares directly behind Nadya where Aukan has stumbled forward. "W-W-WHO...GET THEM GANG!"

The bear in the cage senses the sudden agitation and it aggressively hurls its body into the cage door. The door instantly gives way, the bandits yelping in surprise and trepidation.
OOC:

'Are you sure, after all you all look very tired, let me play a lullaby' Even as she speaks she will take out her Viol she;s been carrying on her back, and play some soothing notes, before brandishing the bow towards the group, hoping to also get the bear if they are close enough.

When down she will move back, hoping the others will move n front to protect her.

The bandits look puzzled as Nadya starts to play her viol, one of them starts to laugh mockingly, his laugh fading into a snore as he sways and collapses in a heap on the ground
OOC:
1 bandit fell asleep. Just to make it clear, 3 bandits are standing as is the bear

Welsh narrows his gaze, watches Nadya knock one of them out with her music. Welsh jumps out from behind the tree, yelling "Surprise, foul fiends!" He grins, and a dark magenta Hex shadow coalesces around the bandit in front (disadvantage on STR checks). He then fires two teal and magenta Eldritch Blasts at him.

1d10 : (9) = 9

1d6 : (5) = 5

The teal and magenta energy hits the hexed bandit with a tremendous amount of force resulting in it not only punching a huge hole through his chest, but also blasting into one of the bandits behind him, severely injuring him.
OOC:
2 bandits standing (1 extremely hurt), 1 sleeping. I used the cleave rule considering the insane amount of damage you made. Although I only transferred leftover eldritch blast damage, not the additional hex damage.
Jun 21, 2020 3:32 am
Welsh looks down at the wand in his hand, shocked for a moment at what just happened, then back at the bandits. He steels himself, then readies himself. "There's more where that came from!"
OOC:
How do I know when its my turn again?
Jun 21, 2020 3:35 am
OOC:
Sassafrass will post it. Basically we're waiting for Vanri and Aukan, then bandits will go
Jun 21, 2020 5:16 am
Having stumbled, Aukan remembers the days where he had to limp to walk. This cause him to feel a sense of frustration wich leads to RAGE

No one threatens me!

Letting out a mighty roar, Aukan unsheathes his greatsword and rushes toward a bandit to strike.
OOC:
Rage 1/2. Now I got resistance to almost every fisical damage... Let's do some damage
OOC:
EDIT: I suuuuuuck
