By looks we are only missing OctopusGLZ who may not have been on for the last two weeks or so.

I'd suggest moving forward with us four and just pretend OctopusGLZ's character has been with us all this time when they return. If he's gone for a long while then consider replacing, if you'd rather have 5 players.

Either way is fine with me. Monte was sleeping at the in until Tau or someone else came and got us. Assuming we are all together at the tree where she is resting

Well I have given enough time for OctopusGLZ. Probably more then I should have it appears.
DM: Fast forward things. Some goes back to inn and lets others know what happened. Night passes morning comes and Sera awakes full healed it seems. You all are at the three trees. The high priest and assistant aren't in their tent and it is closed up. Unless there a part of what happened to you Sera, you let the party know about your experience.

Sera: "So that's basically what I saw. A great evil lurks in the forest, these trees and the druids are holding it at bay."

Sera will find some fallen leaves from these three special trees. She will purchase some leather cord and string, and tie the leaves to the cord, which she will hang about her neck under her shirt. (No cost. Covered in cost of living.)

"I'm really starting to wonder if we're getting paid enough to deal with this problem. But sometimes big evils got big treasures. I figure I'll give it a shot for a while at least."

"What did you all think of the wagon plan? We can hide in a merchant wagon heading into the woods, and then counter-ambush the bandits when they attack. Take prisoners for questioning."

Seraphina will interrupt the conversation from time to time to inquire with townspeople about merchant wagons and caravan guard opportunities.

I would imagine you might be very well walking about. As a group you don't really draw any extra attention. And easy enough to pick up anything general that you might need. Carrick Harper is walking with you as well.

I love this idea. Paid to take take out goblins and paid to protect cargo from the goblins we will take down anyways. I approve. Looks around for any merchants who might be leaving.

Being there isn't any Traveling Merchants where your at, you proceed more over to the gate area where they seem to populate more. I only need to know which of the two gate areas are you going to. The eastern or western?

"Technically we're not getting paid to deal with the bandits, we just have salvage rights," reminds Seraphina, "but if an Eldritch Evil of Unspeakable Horror is involved I suspect the loot will be great. But yeah, Monte's got the right of it."

the town lays on east to west roads. Both gates on the east and west are relatively equal in size. To the south is more open plains. To the north is forest till hills and mountain. It is mostly unexplored territory as it has no roads and goes no where civilized.
