Duccio Smiles towards Gywnne, "You are most welcome, and while nothing solid has happened many threads of possibility have been made open to us so at least this night was not a waste. As for our next course of action it would be finding out how deep this infection of this city runs along side locating the societies base of operations so we may move to ride this city of threats to the court." As Duccio finishes that statement the door to the library opens with father Hoekman informing that Enki has arrived.

"If you will excuse me for a moment." Duccio says briskly walking out to meet with the new arrival to his church, "It is good to see you Enki as prompt as ever I see."

Duccio chuckles as he leads the way towards his sanctuary hidden behind the library, "Still it is good to see there are some in this city who have not lost their common courtesy in these trying times. Also incase you have not been made aware that light which washed over the sky happened to be the Caren of the Lupines being unsealed so it appears that we are not the only ones who have those causing troubles for us."

"I have some errands to run anyways, so I'll just head out." Gwynne nods a passing greeting to Enki on the way out.

"Stay safe out there Gwynne." Duccio says as she passes mulling over Enki's question as he makes his way into his sanctuary before turning towards the man following him.

"I unfortunately do not, although Isaac might as he helped in the unsealing to gain favor in order for them to help Finn... Which Finn's retainers have refused, I was also against that plan mostly due to having Isaac needing to go alone with Finn to the Lupine territory if the ritual could have been done on neutral ground would have been much safer."

Duccio grimaces "As a man of the church these tales deeply worry and are cause for concern and alarm, as one who has delved the deeper mysteries of this world I know that these creatures of the Abyss are troublesome but no more so than any other threat currently facing our court as long as they are not too deeply intrenched. The thing that worries me the most is this tale I have found in connection to the group that captured Delcamp, it appears from a time long before this current city and tells of an Ancient revered being having a deal made with the local population to rid the ocean of a terrible beast. If these Infernalists are from that time it is highly likely they are a more deeply rooted part of this city than would be easily managed.

As to Finn's condition it is every much an issue with her spirit and soul than that of the body, I could have attempted an expulsion but not without likely delivering Finn to her final death. Other options would be taking the expertise from the Inquisition, a correctly knowledgeable mortal Mage, and then the Shamans could help. I am unsure if our kind have any good methods of dealing with these kind of things due to how hard it is to get something tied to our spirits after the embrace but then again I know of Koldunic Sorcery and Thaumaturgy but not in all of their uses."

"It is worth looking into and any help is appreciated, stay safe out there Kristophe." Duccio says as Kristophe makes his exit, "Indeed, dealing with anything outside of our court and kind leads to much danger, it is unfortunate what has befallen Finn is something so difficult for us to deal with. Not to mention the other threats we have looming as it is likely the ones abducting the nobles and others of the court are at least in league with these Abyssal foes it might not be the case as they were being sold off to other cities and Kindred. There is much that needs to be looked into and it appears that our Warden is only good at telling us his competencies rather than showing his actions, albeit his appointment has not been for that long yet so he may prove more useful."

"Indeed as our list continues to grow within this city almost daily, we suffer as all societies do when leadership tends towards passivity dead weight grows while the well meaning are left rudderless and less effective." Duccio sighs and scratches at his jaw line, "I suppose I should make my way to court, I have yet to step in since I had finished sowing the seeds of my plan for the Society... I am sure there is much I have missed while dealing with this disaster with Finn."

"That is a great idea, in these times it would be best to proceed with caution I will gladly accompany you." Duccio nods as he leaves with Enki.

Stepping through the outer doors to the large, ornate church, Aserymus leads his two companions only a small ways into the building itself. He waits a handful of moments for them to take in the tall pillars and arches, the ornate stonework, the beautiful arrangement of colours in the stained-glass windows, even the massive pipe organ at the far end. After a time, he speaks quietly, so as not to disturb any of the assembled figures busying themselves with prayer and contemplation.

"Many of all types come here, to worship the Christ-God, to seek counsel, or just to be alone with their thoughts. Others come here for more...productive conversations. Make no mistake, there are many simple folk who's business here is purely peaceful, and in no way mired in manipulation or subterfuge. If you find reason to come here, be polite and show a peaceful demeanour, but be on your guard as well. The more distracting the wilderness, the more eyes and ears it can hide."

Turning once again, the Lion led the three of them out the doors and into the streets once again.
