The Jaguar runs up to pounce the mummy who threw Xoch' aside and tries to bite him, but is repulsed by the scent and possible taste. He does claw the mummy but the Jaguar finds he cannot knock the mummy down to the ground.

Rolls

STR check against pounce - (1d20+3)

(11) + 3 = 14

I jump back, initially startled, but quickly recover. Using my new war magic ability, I cast a firebolt at the mummy I awakened, then take a swing at it with my chop-o-matic.

Chit chat later Blondie, it's clobberin time.

Green for DM edit for anyone who is curious about the ability.

OOC:
Oh I took the Attack action rather than the Pounce, because both Extra Attack and Unleash Incarnation require me to make the Attack action. So I didn't try to knock the mummy prone. But same net result.
Thanks!

Almost the entire party feels a sense of dread as magical negative energy pervades the tomb. Any sense of natural growth or healing is sapped out of the adventurers as they face these dead. Caine doesn't feel it all.
OOC:
This happened directly after the Jaguar's attack as a legendary action.
Another mummy coffin opens on the east south corner.

Caine sees the action starting behind her and sighs. Disappointed to be separated from riches, straightens up and rushes to help Tecuani. "Today seems like as good as any to die." With that, she takes out her rapier and stabs at the mummy.

Rolls

Attack/Damage - (1d20+8, 1d8+5)

1d20+8 : (5) + 8 = 13

1d8+5 : (3) + 5 = 8

The rogue was not confident about her strike against the mummy that Te had done so poorly against. Her rapier still strikes home, penetrating the fold of ancient cloth, but not doing near the damage that she would expect from one of her strikes.

Kon jumps back and unleashes his magical fire that strikes and bursts the cloth on the mummy into flames that do a massive amount of damage to the mummy. The flames so surprise him that he misses with ax.

Turning away from the fire blocked Mummy King, I head to the nearest mummy and attack it with gusto, lamenting the fact that I cannot recall Maggie, who's flames would do well against these dried out husks wrapped in kindling.

Hey, give Kon a break, it's his first time with this new ability, and he probably pooped his britches when dear Ol' mum popped open the coffin. ;)

The paladin is frantic. He sees Kon doing amazing things on the right hand side of the room, even though there is another mummy coming out of its coffin. On the left he sees, everyone else ganging up on the left hand mummy. "Kitty, follow me!" Duke moves to the left hand group to bring the most friends into his aura of protection. He raises his radiant sword and attacks the mummy on the left. Duke swings and lands two attacks and smites them both. He shoves the mummy down with his shield, but it is too strong.
OOC:
Damn Kon, I only did 29!

The mummies attack! The left attacks Xoch' The right attacks Kon, and the lower right one magically transforms into a whirlwind of sand, moves up to Kitty, and reverts to its normal form, and attacks with its rotting fist. If hit, they take blunt trauma and necrotic damage.

The three mummies give Storm, Kon, and Kitty a dreadful glare.
OOC:
These three need to give me a WIS saving throw. Storm may add +3 from Duke's aura of protection.
Duke feels a terrible spell of Harm being cast upon him and fails his save for 44 points of damage. Had he not taken a short rest, our paladin would be knocked unconscious. He is bloodied by the necrotic damage.
OOC:
The negative energy in the room is still such that he cannot heal. Furthermore, his maximum hit point limit is reduced by the 44 points.
The fourth mummy on the lower left awakens.
