Surprised that there is anything left for me to do, and wondering about why Duke hasn't taken a turn since his initiative is way before Kon's... I do the double strike that I had hoped to do last time. Not that it'll do much, I think. I seem destined to be the comic relief in this bard's tale.

Interesting how perception is. The bard was sitting here thinking how he'd done your plan instead of the tale he wanted to do. Just trying to be a team player. And it turns out, any distraction would do.

Cheer up, Sunshine, you have great ideas, most of which we implemented, like the new AV that I love. It's just D&D and supposed to be fun.

What's an AV? And I'll be good. Just in a bit of a mood because of the asshat who threatened my wife earlier. And wasting the first crit I've ever rolled in D&D didn't help. I'm just grumpy, I'll get over it.

Sorry, I'm old school. I call the icon pics avatars or avies or AV. I just mean you had that good idea about having two to keep it easy to tell who was talking (when I remember to change player to character)

That would piss me off, too. If it makes you feel better, both you and your wife are great role players. I try to do better at the exposition part.

Storm turns his attack onto Elena with black fire ignited on the black blade. It's powerful strike blows against the vampire, but something unexpected happens. Storm looks shocked. This is not how a death blow was supposed to happen, was it? The vampire sword he held does necrotic damage to the living, and Elena had ceased to live a long time ago. The damage instead pours into Storm's veins (I havent done the count, but I suspect you fall?)

That would seem appropriate for the comic relief tangent. Prior to this, I took 10 damage. I have no idea what damage I take now, but my HP is 26. So I'm probably dead.
