Character Idea

I tend to adjust fire appropriately for that in combat, but! If we're more comfortable at the average that works for me

I mean I tend to look more at the numbers. So I appreciate con, my mental stat and my phys stat above 10, and preferable one around 17-18. So currently looking at my second roll and seeing if I can make it work with high stats of 16 and 14 after tabaxi stats

I'm fine with either. It'd be nice to have a little more in CON or a nice juicy 18 in INT but as it stands I'm at an exact 12 average 👍.

I mean whats the fun in having all OP Stats right :DDD

I see a lot of you have submitted characters! I'll walk through them between tonight or tomorrow and have them approved. First post will be a day or two after everyone's on deck so I can set it up and tie you all in neatly! Hai guys! I'll be the new kid and I'm sorry now if I ask dumb questions lol. Let me do my stat roll, I'm thinking bard off the get go though. I've really wanted to try that class and haven't gotten the chance to, but if we need another class, I can be flexible!

Also CaveJohnson, your name makes my heart so happy! I squealed in excitement over the Portal reference! I mean it could've been a Half-Life reference I think but I haven't played those, I just know him from Portal.


Edit: I mean... seems pretty balanced across the board, no stat too op over the other.

So my plan is to try and get this thing in the air by end of week, earlier if everyone has characters submitted before then!

So I have no experience with this, nor really any, goth horror like roleplaying so I wanted to run a thought by you guys to get some feedback, I hope you all don't mind.

Going with the wanting to be a bard thing, I was looking into what race to choose and I saw the Aasimar and that they're basically celestial versions of tieflings and they're placed in the world to do good and protect and such things. This led to several different thoughts about how to approach this because I got an instant idea from seeing it and I'm wanting to know what you guys think is the best strat to go with this as.

1. I was thinking originally that I could have one that ended up in this alternate dimension somehow and was the "odd one out" because they had their hope and faith unlike the citizens of the plane. I don't want to be too out there if an optimistic character would be too strange, it just seemed to fit the idea of someone supposedly lawful and good and hope spreading like a bard of that race might be (at least to me).
2. I was also thinking along that line, but instead, maybe have them slip into despair and fear like the rest of the people living in that dimension as the story goes on.
3. Or should I just start them out like "all hope is lost, life is depressing and scary" like a proper emo goth kind of deal? This is a bit out of my depth, but I'd give it my best go at going for it!

I will say my Tabaxi is going to be incredibly cheerful, we can't give up etc as these are my Tenents -

I haven't finished filling in the information on this site yet, but my char is done on D&DBeyond and in the campaign. I'll finish filling in the char sheet on here after sleep.
