You can never trust those MISTS...Once before (5e time), I played a lawful monk that got cursed and turned chaotic and went to his opposite a barbarian and all the time cursed he became stronger and more werewolf like. Took 4 high level werewolf hunter to take him down. The character had a STR of 26. Was an interesting game played table top.
Don't know but perhaps I will try a Monk again.. ;).

I'm considering a Cleric now. Pondering race, maybe dwarf or human.. So we don't get seen as the latest monster incursion by the local peasantry. ^^
Edit 1: Ooh Dice roller! *Does the Dance of Dicey Dice*
Edit 2: 18, 13, 12, 10, 9, 8. Sweet and bitter in one tasty package!
Edit 3: Maybe not the best rolls for a cleric. Screams for a Hexblade, but I played one of those already so that's a no. Maybe Fighter or Druid? I'll think on it.

Druid... I never played it because the whole wild shape thing seemed daunting, but I'm just going to go for it I think. Should be fun.

You could be... our kitty mascot? ^^
But that's probably the kind of array our kind and gracious DM will bestow mercy on.
Also no, bad Khulod. Stop exploiting/manipulating my poor naive characters.
BUT!
Should you want to work with me on them we can hammer something out, up to you guys!
I mean, I would appreciate at least a couple of rerolls, or perhaps allowance to jump to the standard array.
I was thinking of bird person monk style/ get some krav maga style or kraw macaw! things that would totally not bite me in the tail.
Completely open to viturally anything else. Only thing i've not played in 5e is a lock and i'm not partial to them so..

Question: Would it be OK for me to reskin some of my spells to be more skitter-y? for example, Goodberry becomes Goodbugs? (For that extra crunch!)
(Took the Lucky feat not to be one of 'those guys' who exploits it. I've used it before with a Diviner and rp'd it as mini-portents that help sway outcomes)
Ooo those reskins sound cool

My character is fairly complete and sent the GM some thoughts on my history that really isn't important unless something else follows us in.

If anyone else is displeased with their rolls or is too far below our goal average, lemme know and we can work with that! Our average we're looking at is between 13 and 14!
9, 13, 14, 13, 11, 10. I mean at least there no 6. Average is 11.6

I'm slightly below that (11.66) but I'm fine.
I Submitted my Crawte guy
Also CaveJohnson, your name makes my heart so happy! I squealed in excitement over the Portal reference! I mean it could've been a Half-Life reference I think but I haven't played those, I just know him from Portal.
Edit: I mean... seems pretty balanced across the board, no stat too op over the other.

I foresee: a great time had by all!...or is that a gruesome death had by all...or both?
Going with the wanting to be a bard thing, I was looking into what race to choose and I saw the Aasimar and that they're basically celestial versions of tieflings and they're placed in the world to do good and protect and such things. This led to several different thoughts about how to approach this because I got an instant idea from seeing it and I'm wanting to know what you guys think is the best strat to go with this as.
1. I was thinking originally that I could have one that ended up in this alternate dimension somehow and was the "odd one out" because they had their hope and faith unlike the citizens of the plane. I don't want to be too out there if an optimistic character would be too strange, it just seemed to fit the idea of someone supposedly lawful and good and hope spreading like a bard of that race might be (at least to me).
2. I was also thinking along that line, but instead, maybe have them slip into despair and fear like the rest of the people living in that dimension as the story goes on.
3. Or should I just start them out like "all hope is lost, life is depressing and scary" like a proper emo goth kind of deal? This is a bit out of my depth, but I'd give it my best go at going for it!
Kindle the Light. Through your acts of mercy, kindness, and forgiveness, kindle the light of hope in the world, beating back despair.
Shelter the Light. Where there is good, beauty, love, and laughter in the world, stand against the wickedness that would swallow it. Where life flourishes, stand against the forces that would render it barren.
Preserve Your Own Light. Delight in song and laughter, in beauty and art. If you allow the light to die in your own heart, you can't preserve it in the world.
Be the Light. Be a glorious beacon for all who live in despair. Let the light of your joy and courage shine forth in all your deeds.
If that helps your decision.

3. Ghostwise Moon Druid
4. Human Fighter
5. Kenku Monk
6. ??? Bard
7. Me
Is this the current state of things? I might roll with what I am thinking if the DM allows it! I was thinking a reluctant Celestial Warlock. Basically a cat burglar/art thief type who stole something from a temple, only to find out that the God who owned it actually cared about it quite a bit. Now as recompense for their sin they were given the choice to be smited to the afterlife or pull jobs for their new 'parole officer.' I was thinking Torm fit the bill. The thief hatesssss the magic she's received because it makes her glow like a lightbulb compared to all the sneaking around that she is more comfortable with.

The character concept I am super sold on!
( 4, 6, 4, 3 ) = 17 - 3 = 14
( 1, 2, 3, 1 ) = 7 - 1 = 6
( 3, 2, 3, 5 ) = 13 - 2 = 11
( 5, 5, 4, 4 ) = 18 - 4 = 14
( 4, 4, 2, 2 ) = 12 - 2 = 10
( 2, 6, 5, 5 ) = 18 - 2 = 16
14 + 6 + 11 + 14 + 10 + 16 = 71 / 6 = 11.83
Either way I probably would prefer point anyways

I realize that after i posted in the "get to know me" that i put the info for the wrong bond down  oh well.
