Kristophe pats the man on the shoulder lightly, giving a nod. "Well curse or not, I'd like to find the truth I think. And if I happen upon your man along the way I'll try to send him back."

With this Kristophe leaves the group, continuing to wander the room. At one point grabbing a hand full of grapes as he leaves for a few minutes before returning to the main hall. From there he continues to circle, a smile constantly on his face as he performs small bits of juggling or the like and moves from group to group.

*Henrys eyes widen when he hears Kristophe mention a curse and quickly follows*

"Excuse me my good fellow, I believe we have met before but were never properly introduced. My name is Henry and I was wondering what you meant about a curse. I was tasked with ensuring protection from said malicious practices back at my home court and was wondering if you would accept my assistance in the matter. In truth it has been too long since I have felt useful and would enjoy trying to solve a mysterious curse or whatever it may be"

*Henry chuckles as if to a joke only he can hear. He removes his hands from his robe revealing a glove which matches the design of the stole, decorated with gold filigree.*

Kristophe stares at Henry's gloves for a silent moment, before looking back up at the man and giving an exaggerated bow. "Greetings and well met Father Henry? While others speak of curses of misfortune and bad luck it's hard to say whether tis actually that or simply the vagaries of fate. Though truly hexes can cause such strife, oft tis nothing more than turn of fortune, as one who can cast such malfortune are indeed rare. More like that some malefactor is the cause of such discontent," at this point Kristophe leans in a speaks more softly, "though whether tis of more mortal means or something darker is yet to be revealed." He stands back straight and gives a laugh as if he had just told the most amusing joke.

*Henry retracts his hand looking embaressed*

"I apologize, I did not mean to be rude. Please forgive me."

*He steps back and bows awkwardly as he tries to remain balanced*

"Would you be interested in speaking more about the curse another day? I have a small chapel on the edge of town where I keep my books. Perhaps I might have something of use in them. I can give you the directions if you would like, it is out of the way, but it is quiet if nothing else."

"No offense was taken, I simply do not wish to unwisely indulge in flights of fancy of the more common folk. Much can be gleaned from those who most take no notice of, though it must also be taken with a grain of salt. Perhaps I shall visit you and peruse what knowledge you have collected. If not for the purpose discussed here but for the future as well. One can never be too well prepared for the whims of fate. Especially in our life." At this last statement Kristophe gives an exaggerated wink.

*Henry chuckles*

"You speak the truth my friend. I do hope you decide to come visit"

*He pulls out a folded piece of paper and hands it to Kristophe. It has a wax seal keeping it closed with no adornment in the seal itself.*

"If you would be so kind as to memorize the address and return the letter to me please, I do not wish for my chapel to become common knowledge."

Kristophe takes the envelope from Henry, opens it, at stares at the paper inside for what is probably slightly longer than needed, a very serious look on his face. He then looks back up at Henry and smiles while handing it back to the man.

"Well then, I shall endeavor to visit soon as time shall allow. Meanstwhile, unless there is other pressing business, shall we not return to the enjoyment of this fine gathering?"

*Henry takes back the envelope and places it back in his robes*

"I look forward to your visit! And I do suppose you're correct, people might start to wonder if we look so serious at such a festive gathering. It was a pleasure to meet you."

*Henry awkwardly bows again, this time looking a little more steady and then begins wandering amongst the guests.*

"And a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well." Kristophe replies. He then turns as well to mingle slightly with guests again, before eventually making his way over to Lord Von Doorn.

As he arrives he gives a deep bow of respect before addressing the man once a break in conversation appears. "Thank you kind Sir, for the allowance to perform at your wonderful abode. I do so hope that you shall continue to allow us to entertain your guests as you continue to show them your generous hospitality. We would of course also be willing to do other performances as you request," Kristophe gives the man a wide smile. "I do apologize if tonight wasn't quite up to the regular standard, attempts at new routines in unfamiliar locations can sometimes take a bit more work."

The man takes a sip of his drink before speaking in a joking manor to the group " Worry not, it was entertaining although perhaps not in the manner you were expecting"

"It is surprising to see so many new faces here, perhaps you lot can liven the place up. Till now its been left to me and my many stories." The man laughs to himself "Not that anyone is tired of them!"

"Your kind words are well appreciated good Sir, and I hope that we can provide much entertainment in the days to come. I know I for one would greatly benefit from your stories, as new tales are always welcome for one such as I." Kristophe replies to the man, smiling wide. "And indeed, new faces are always a welcome reprieve from the mundane. Let us hope that they too shall provide much in the way of new stories and opportunities."
