Character Introductions

Just post a little get to know you for the others, anything relevant and so forth! If you're taking the 'mysterious' route that's more than okay, but I still ask that you post here so I can have some kind of heads up! I'd like to open the game with you all knowing at least vaguely of one another through an initial hook of being gathered together in a small crisis in the town of Daggerford. We'll get to the actual game bit in it's own thread, but within this context, provide your character an introduction to the others so that we know who we're dealing with!

I'm a bit confused. How well do we know each other? Are we established? Not just wandering from the mists?

Hallinger comes stumbling out of a mist.

Appearance gear wise: Overall it shows a great amount of neglect.

Leather Armor that was beer stained and a touch ratty. Wooden Shield and some of metal reinforcement was gone. Worn Dark Common Clothes w/ hood. Waterskin that smell of alcohol.Sweet Crafted Longbow that was starting to show the need of maintenance. 20 Black arrows with expensive blue fletching. Leather Quiver that showed patching. Pearl Handed Longsword that needed some care. 2 Handaxes and one so out of balance it couldn't be thrown. Ratty Backpack with attached Patched Work Bedroll & 50' Hempen Rope. Worn Belt Pouch.

Halllinger looks to be drunk. His movements are very staggered. By looks and the smell about him, he been this way for a long while. He must be a man used to it as he is still moving. He has a strong build and no doubt trained fighter as he does have a longsword to his side. Not that it is a lot of use right at the moment. He looks like he might have seen better days before.

Tsigan Vrajitor is a Vistani male in his mid to late 20s. He (along with the rest of his people) travels with his clan up and down the Sword Coast and all throughout Faerun as a nomadic tribe living out of their horse-drawn wagons. He makes a living as a fortune teller (or so he says) and loves any game that involves money on the table. Today, however, he travels to Daggerford alone.

He wears bohemian clothing (drawstring harem pants, loose tunic, traveler's sandals etc.) all of which are speckled with vibrant colors. There's a ring for almost every finger and several gold, silver and beaded necklaces all worn at the same time. Over all of this is a weathered travelers cloak with multiple deep pockets; one for his orb and another for his deck of spell cards (spellbook variant if that's okay). He carries an explorers pack on his back and a flashy looking kris dagger on his hip. A small tawny owl hitches a ride on his shoulder, resting comfortably.

Tsigan is of average height and weight, perhaps erring on the side of short and slender. He has long, straight black hair and Van Dyke style facial hair. Both ears are pierced with gold helix earrings and his right upper canine was replaced with a gold tooth after losing it in a bar fight. Though perhaps slightly buzzed on mead, he carries himself with confidence after a long journey; with head high and a toothless grin. He's got a friendly, upbeat personality and doesn't mind making new money friends here.

That's for you all to determine. You will at least be visually familiar with one another, but if you've got a drive to know one member or another more then that's fine by me!

This is more so I have you all in one spot to refer back to for those sorts of details, helps me keep it all straight!

The halfling Aldagrim Burrowfingers has the a haggard look of a beggar. He always looks about wearily, a man who has received the sharp end of a boot too many times in his life. But at the same time he seems one of those people that has taken the worst life has to offer and came out on top. Dressed in filthy garb and a heavy brown and stained cloak with a large hood, his feet wrapped in cloth and smelling vaguely of a sewer, he nonetheless seems to have a little spark of halfling optimism in him.

I'm find being associated with most.

Crate Crack began his tutelage in the monastery at a young age. He was always fascinated by the teachings of the mind and body. After many years of study he was permitted to practice in the way of the arts, as they call it. Classes took longer but he was able to pick up quickly the many teachings. Not to long after his entry into the advanced beginners class he was attacked by some monstrosity. Defending himself he managed to stop the beast. He later found out that he had been blamed for the destruction the beast had caused with the only traces that remained were left on Crate Crack. Unable to truly prove his innocence he was exiled from the city Highmoon.

Now he spends his time in his exile to help hunt and eliminate monstrous threats.

Shael is rather short for a half-elf, having inherited her father's height rather than her mother's statuesque build. She never particularly minded though; it's much easier to cloak yourself in the shadows or sneak through a crowd when you don't stick out. Keeping her dark hair cropped short- "much easier to keep your hood down low that way"- Shael's prominent facial features are her striking amber eyes- "not natural, I am afraid"- and a lengthy scar from the bottom of her right eye down to her lips- "a present from a jealous ex."

Beyond her thick hood and cloak, the half-elf wears simple brown leathers with soft-soled boots. Hidden among her numerous pockets and pouches are dozens of little nick-knacks that she has 'acquired' over the years. Although she rarely brandishes them in polite company, Shael keeps a handful of expensive daggers well-polished and sharpened for use. As to the magic she wields? You need to put her into a real bind for her to rely upon it, and really drunk if you actually wanted a straight answer of where they come from. "It must have been a passing cleric; don't look at me. "

Marissia, or Haven as she's known when she's performing, is not your typical Aasimarian. Instead of keeping a low profile and being a protector, she prefers to be in the spotlight as she shares her optimism, hope, and courage through her words, music, and dance moves. Assigned to the material world, she found herself transported somehow during travel to the realm of Strahd, where she finds herself standing out.

Her slightly below average height and small frame allow for her to gracefully show off her figure in elegant costumes and a fine, but flashy garment. She can typically be seen humming a tune or player her pan flute. You can see her easily in a crowd thanks to her dazzling smile, blue hair the shade of the depths of the sea, and eyes so light brown that they look golden. She's amazing with her words, but very skilled with a spell and her rapier that was gifted to her by her king.
