It's your strong charisma coming through. Your description was fantastic, it just left me room to draw her with more than a little meso-american flare. My NPCs are not ever so beautiful, but your description said something to me about being straight forward and unadorned, with an ability to engratiate. I think that it is beauty. I wish I could say these images I use are from my background in art and architecture, but really I rely on new technologies like deep learning and art breeding these days.

When Kit is dressed to kill, she has a bit more sass to her, more form fitting hero wear, more ear showing, more makeup but letting the beauty shine through.

I like the second one... I’m gonna be what I think is a little picky (I’m sorry!) and point out that it looks like her right cheek is super full and her left cheek is normal. Can you flatten the right side a little?

Great direction!!! Holy wow! The only thing I’d say about him is keep him clean shaven, I just prefer men that way.

Awwww! So what sparked you wanting to edit the photos?

The change in attire and the attitude of the characters in the story. In the first portraits they look like beautiful but lost kids. Now they are adventurers, confident in their love, willing to take risks. Kit especially is showing off her ears, whereas it was not even in your description before. The characters are growing in self awareness. They have much to learn still, about themselves and each other, about how to be a couple in a larger group, about how to use their high charisma. Looking the part and playing the part is very much part of who they are. The protrait should reflect that. I wouldn't mind continually changing them.
