I reel from this. I'd always suspected after what happened, but for it to be true... "Huatzi, I can't think of any other questions. Can we go check on him? I know he'll be okay, I just... still like seeing that for myself."

I laugh. "Yes dear. Divine knowledge is addicting, but your love must be sweet to draw you away so quickly. Come, let's look at your Duke." I motion to the door back to the dias, but you have already started that way. You find him still wrapped up in vines, though they do not strain against his sleeping muscles.

Giggling at Huatzi, I comment, "True love keeps a constant pull on you, no matter how close you are." Seeing you, I walk up and kiss your forehead, telling you "I love you more than anything," through our telepathic link. I hold your hand and wait for you to wake up, making small talk with Huatzi as long as she stays, letting her know that the whole group is here, including Kon if she needs some attention of the special kind.

"Just between us girls, I don't think Kon knows which head to use for love."

I hear the sound of my beloved. I feel her presence and breath upon my brow. I wake to see you, one eye on Huatzi and the other darting back to me. My eyes fully open and you light up the room. I move to hug you, but the vines snare me. "Love!?! I am so sorry! Do you forgive me?"

"I see Qotal is awake!" she snears, with a bit of questioning doubt to her tone.

I laugh at Huatzi. "Your secret is safe with me, but don’t doubt too much. He shares a lot of his qualities."

Looking down to you, I sigh smiling as I lean down to kiss you passionately. Pulling back, I look at you sweetly. "Hush now love, take a few deep breaths. There’s nothing to forgive because you did nothing wrong! If you want, we can discuss it tonight, but you’re you again. And I’m so happy to have nothing but you in you! Well... I guess that’s not quite true technically, is it... The curse is gone. That’s what’s important. I love you so much!" I lean down and kiss you again, my own mind still reeling with the morning we’ve had.

"I do need to say I'm sorry. I forgot! I didn't make your tea this morning!"

The priest comes in and releases me from the vines. I reach up to hug and kiss you, ignoring the on lookers.

"Let's send those pluma messages to our folks and get back to the Inn and I'll make tea and breakfast for you. I want to do for you and show you I'm all better."
