A man who looks alot like a slightly less handsome Isaac with longer hair and a well trimmed beard emerges from the crowd. This man is absolutely not Isaac. Don't worry about it. The stranger approaches Lord Van Dorn and waits for an opportunity to introduce himself.

As definitely not Issac stands a man with olive skin and dressed in fine silk clothing comes over to speak to him.

Definitely Not Isaac smiles back though the smile is more lopsided than Isaac's.

There is a sharp decline in stories of magic and those who use it over the centuries but it is hard to tell the reason. Is it a part of a natural fluctuation or something else? Many have pointed to the rise of Christianity but if you look at the stories of miracles performed by the saints those two seem magical in their own way."
John speaks for a few more minutes about the trends in declining magic.

Ouza smiles wide as John speaks "Fascinating that is what I was talking about, come come you must sit with us and enjoy the conversation. I have just arrived here to study the Occult in the city It is a fascinating subject, even if certain groups don't agree with me."

"Hmmmmm. A ring of mushrooms. Folklore tells us the fair folk are known to appear there but there have been no verified accounts of such as far as I know. That said it wouldn't do to insult the fae so its wise to be careful around such places."

"I have been traveling and am somewhat new to town. I am well versed in such things. Draugr are those who have died yet live on in a state between life and death. They do not fear blades nor most harm and they feed from the living."

Van doorn laughs nervously now "Well I can assure you other then some homeless folks none has set foot in those tunnels other then our recently construction crews"
Van Doorn continues "You seem to know alot freind but as the local expert Did you know that of all things Garlic is dangerous to these walking corpses and apparently they need to be invited to enter a home? Can you imagen coming back from the dead and being scared of garlic?"

"I had not heard of this aversion of garlic. Perhaps the next time I venture forth at night I should make sure to have a clove handy in case one of these creatures accosted me. You know my lord it seems like you and I are kindred spirits in seeking out lore most are not able to obtain. Perhaps we could meet in private some night soon in between revelry and compare notes. Perhaps we could even research or experiment together."
