Dark Elf
Stats: Str: 3-18 | Dex: 8-20 | Con: 7-17 | Int: 9-19 | Wis: 3-18 | Cha: 6-16
Infravision: 90 ft

Special Adv.
1/Day: Dancing Lights, faerie fire, and darkness. At 4th, 1/Day: levitate, know alignment, and detect magic. Drow Priests, 1/Day: clairvoyance, detect lie, suggestion, and dispel magic.
Drow also receive a +2 bonus on all saves
involving magic. This includes those devices that emit magical effects or are powered by magic.
Special Disadv.
The major disadvantage of the drow is their inability to see in bright light. Any light greater than that of torches or continual light spells (including bright
sunlight) will blind them and severely affect their ability to fight. Wan light, like that of a light
spell, does not trigger this disadvantage.
Bright light causes the drow to suffer, temporarily, -2 to Dexterity. Attack rolls are made at
a -2 penalty, and opponents gain a +2 save against drow spells if they are within the light. When
a drow is in darkness and his opponents are in the light, he retains his Dexterity and surprise
advantages but still suffers a penalty on attack rolls.

Additional EXP Cost: 20%

Sylvan Elf

Ability Score Adjustments: Because their lives are spent in constant exertion, wood elves
are stronger than other elves. However, they are less sociable because of their upbringing. They
have bonuses of +1 to Strength and Dexterity and penalties of -1 to Constitution and Charisma.
TABLE 9: SYLVAN ELF ABILITY SCORES
Ability Minimum Maximum
Strength 6 19
Dexterity 6 19
Constitution 7 17
Intelligence 8 18
Wisdom 3 18
Charisma 7 17
Languages: Sylvan Elvish, High Elvish, centaur, pixie, dryad, treant, and other woodland
creatures.
Infravision: 60 feet.

High Elves are as they are in the normal book. They are listed as the most common.

Notes: Wood elves have their advantages and disadvantages removed as they don't offer much and hinder too much. They are the more numerous of elvenkind on the surface.

For the purposes of this campaign, High Elves are considered exceedingly rare, mainly thought to be extinct: wiped out of existence with no clue as to why.

Drow have one less adv. and disadv. They lose out on their 50% and increasing magic resist to mitigate the need to return to the underdark to recover powers lost from being on the surface for too long a time.
