Wincing at the sound of metal striking metal as it echoes through the tunnel, Clarice can only hope the commotion outside masks the sound from others who may hear it.

TRIUMPHANT the group sneers at the foe defeated, as they step over it's rusty corpse and into the night air. So long as the raiders didn't bring many gates or doors with them, the rest of this quest should be a piece of cake....

"Quite the racket we've made," he sneers, passing through the doorway.
Shame he couldn't blast it off with prestidigitation, them they might've been able to get through quietly. But alas, he knew better.

"Someone add a prybar to their shopping list, yeah?"
Elceran kicks the lock aside as he steps through.

Stepping out Clarice takes a quick look around trying to get her bearings. She asks, just above a whisper, "Which way is the mill?"

OOC:
sorry, I can't mark the map with the computer I'm at right now, but the mill is the building on the river in the bottom left corner of the map. You guys have emerged at the edge of the river south of the keep.Where the banks are clear, the stream is easy to get into or out of. Brush by the stream is dense, and the banks are steep where brush grows. You can move only 5 feet per turn through the brush.
Or you can choose to go by the road.
The mill is about 1000 feet away.

Ah I think I see the mill over there Grim says as he points to a building off in the distance. We can try and be stealthy about this and use the bushes along the river as cover but it will take longer. I say we use the path and get there quicker fighting anyone that gets in our way. The more we slay on our way, the less we have to worry about when we head to the church afterwards

"I agree a direct approach is better, but still think we should avoid fighting if possible. It is night and with all that is happening we may be able to get to the mill undetected - and keep the element of surprise."
Dec 22, 2020 7:36 pm
"It wouldn't do any good if we're found out and they set fire to the mill or something. But we are also on a bit of a time crunch."

Standing here is solving nothing. Stay quiet, and move aside if anything comes.
With that he starts moving down the path.
With that he starts moving down the path.
