A Time for Harvest Gameplay - Chapter One

Jolting awake, Jon bolts upright with a worn service revolver in hand.

Angel's eyes fly open as a moan escapes his lips. Cold sweat dampens his pillow as he trembles on his cot, his eyes searching the darkness around him for... What? Silly me, there's nothing here. Just a dream. A dream. He sits up with a shuddering sigh, resting his elbows on his knees and his face in his hands, scrubbing the sleep and night-fear from his eyes.

"Let me out!" Mathis screams as he awakens. Thinking that with everything going on that this might be related. He grabs a note book and starts writing frantically. Trying to get everything down before he forgets.

Jerking upright Father Simon says a few quick prayers for salvation and protection. He then grabs his prayer shawl and book of banishing. He pauses for a moment and picks up his shotgun as well and heads down stairs.

It takes a a moment for Joseph to remember where he is.

That was some dream, but it felt so real

He hears someone moving downstairs so deciding that he wont get any more sleep tonight, Joseph grabs one of his boos and heads downstairs

Once Angel's breathing has slowed and his brain comes to the full realization that he's awake and everything is OK, he begins to get dressed. He pulls his pen and notebook out of his shoe, flipping through it to review his notes, then shaking his head in wonder, pulls his shoes on. Standing, he makes his way out to the outhouse and then the kitchen, getting a drink of water.

Mathis is officially freaked right the fuck out. He loads up all his gear (trapping gear, machete, etc) and heads out to check the traps he set in the woods yesterday.

Jon is sitting at the table, jotting down notes. His revolver sits within easy reach, and his hand instinctively jumps to it at the slightest noise. The expression on his face is that of someone clearly haunted, and he appears to have not gotten much rest.
