Blih has no intention of fighting Ken for a heavy pistol. He will take the offered knife and communicator; They can always be split or sold later.

Hiding a sigh and a subtle shaking of his head as best he can, Blih will follow Ken and help with the tracking.

OOC:

Since Ken is the expert tracker, please roll using Blih cunning of 5.

Ken signals to Blih to head through the undergrowth ten metres to the side of the track while he starts running through the trees on the other side, looking to get ahead of the Rodians and set up another ambush. He points to the communicator to indicate that Blih should let him know if he spots them. He waves to the others to follow at a safe distance.

Pergano follows behind the group, trying to cover their flank as best he can. Let us hope we can get to these guys before they can get back to their ship.

The group races into the undergrowth, staying just wide of the trail. It's barely ten minutes before Ken hears the obvious sound of blasters. Pausing a second, he's sure the blaster fire is going away from him. Blih and Pergano slow too as the sounds of one sided blaster fire come from ahead.

Continuing cautiously, Ken peers from the foliage to see that the escaping Rodians have gathered the attention of one of the 'locals'. Standing in a clear spot on the trail, a Nexu crouches over one of the Rodians while the other two have it pinned down by fire. You can tell by the motions of the Nexu, it's trying to decide whether to attempt to run off with it's prey or charge one of the other Rodians that are threatening it.

Ken settles beside a tree to see what happens. He keeps the heavy blaster trained on the Rodians and the Nexu.

He quietly activates his communicator, signalling to the others 'Located the Rodians, observing them confronting a Nexu. Approach with caution.'

After a few more minutes of blasting away, the two remaining Rodians manage to land a few hits on the Nexu. It howls and finally gives up it's kill and bounds away into the jungle.

The two Rodians make a quick check of their fallen comrade and start again into the jungle towards their ship.

After the Nexu leaves Ken opens fire with his new heavy blaster at the Rodians from the undergrowth.

OOC:

Taking my two Aim for boosts. That's 7 damage with the heavy blaster +3 for the successes and I'd like to trigger a crit with the advantage.

He raises the others on the comlink, 'Engaging targets...'

Ken looses a barrage of blaster bolts from his position in the undergrowth. One of the Rodians drops immediately and the other is staggered by the force of the blaster bolt. He turns to face the attack and begins backing into the jungle.

Well, I know I said let's go around the table, but unless someone want's to fight Blih for that last shot,

Down goes the last Rodian... The jungle remains quiet for about 15 seconds after the blast and then the sounds of jungle activity returns with a momentarily deafening rush.

AD-hoc looks around at the bodies on the ground that will most likely be claimed by the jungle before saying;'Well, that was efficient. Now what? Locate the hunters ship, or focus on evacuating as many survivors as we can?'

Ken searches the bodies, while he rifles through the Rodians' clothes he holds some up to Blih and AD-hoc. 'We're going to need some kind of ruse to get onto that ship, do you think these would fit me?' he says, with a slight smile on his green snout.

"Take the one with the Nexu wounds. Being wounded explains sounding different and using a short, non committal sentence. Blood also incite an instinctive response. As long a the threat seems present, but not eminent, curiosity should have them opening the door before survival instinct or critical thinking kicks in."

"Having an extra ship would go a long way to evacuate more people. And sadly I doubt this clan will give up just because they lost a team. It might not be safe for the ones left behind to wait the next ship."

Let's get to the ship and make sure their aren't any stragglers waiting there. Harsol may know who of his crew could fly it if we do need to leave the planet.

Ken strips off the Rodian's clothes and squeezes into the bloodied outfit with a clear look of disgust on his face. He presents himself to Blih, 'What do you think?'

Presumptuously I'm going to ask for Blih's help and use his Cunning 5 to add to my Skullduggery 1 in order to ensure he looks the part - if Blih doesn't help then just ignore the last 2 green as Ken's Cunning is 3

The only Heavy Blaster was the Boss, back at the ambush. These 3 all have standard Blaster Pistols, vibroknifes and comlinks.

Looks like you succeed at looking like a wounded Rodian. Plan? :)

Thinking Ken takes a comlink, locate and close on the Rodian ship. Bit of covering blaster fire, Ken breaks for the ship and radios he was attacked and to let him in. Then when he gets to the ship he tries to take out whoever is on the door and keep it open while the others get up close and swarm inside. This is as sophisticated as a Ken plan gets.
