The team puts itself in to creating a 'trail' that leads to one of the openings in the crashed Sa Nalaor's hull. Once finished, everyone hunkers down in the thick jungle to wait for Bounty Hunters. Captian Harsol and Cratala with the B1 droids and her Nexu hang back waiting to join should things get violent.
About 30 minutes pass, as the team sits and swelters in the heat and the bugs of the jungle. Then, easing into the clearing and onto the trail towards the ship come 4 Rodians. Ken clearly recognizes from the colors of their clothes that they are working for the same group that tried to kidnap IT-3PO back on the wheel.
They are walking with one about 5 meters in front of the other 3, all have their pistols out and are scanning their surroundings carefully as they advance. They reach about 15 meters to the ship, when the lead Rodian stops and makes a slow circle peering into the dense jungle. In Rodese he says Hey, boss...
One of the 3 following Rodians is looking directly into the jungle, somewhere between Blih and AD-hoc, he responds in Rodese as well, Yeah, it's a trap...
It's obvious he know someone is there, but doesn't seem to have spotted anyone precisely.

Having tracked the Rodians closely as they walked into the clearing, as soon as he realises they've been made, Ken opens fire on the individual identified as the boss. As he does so he shouts 'Dobrah Keno, tuta jah grancha Tetsu confeeba. Mi crispo pateeso panksta Yiyar confeeba. Faaway neechu mo me keepuna chuba nee choo peechu.'

Unimpressive or not, it's still first blood. Let's cycle through everyone else since this is essentially a 'surprise' round and you are all 'hidden' enough that they couldn't react until after you do.

Pergano fires his blaster at the man who was referred to as "boss" who he has been eyeing since they fell into the trap.
rolling the extra blue from Ken separately, I know sometimes GM's don't like more than 2 boosts so if I can't take it give it to the next person

The jungle erupts with blaster fire as bolts rain down on the lead Rodian. Numerous blasts strike him and knock him back and onto one knee. He pauses for a second before commanding the others, Get them!!

One manoeuvre to aim, and then 2 strain for another aim. I think he gets to keep his 1 defence die as long as he stays in cover. He'll shoot the boss unless he goes down, otherwise he'll shoot one of the others, whichever is closest. I'm guessing still medium range so 2POOC:

AD-hoc watches in amazement, as he finally gets to see what the weapons he has always worked on can do in capable hands. He realizes his goo gun won't reach that far, and decides to move just close enough to fire at the Rodians

Kens barrage causes the leader to drop his blaster as he's moving. Blih and Pergano each strike the Rodian and he drops. The remaining Rodian's hesitate as AD-hoc's goo gun splatters on the ground next to them. The sudden strangeness of the goo pushes them over the edge and they bolt back into the jungle.

Ken rushes over to the downed leader, keeping him covered with his blaster and then checking for signs of life. 'If we pursue them we could take their ship but it's not very sporting' he says.

Blih will tentatively get out of his cover. Then he will search the "boss" for any information he was carrying.

Ken and Blih arrive at the downed Rodian. He is truly deceased and carries little outside of his Heavy Blaster pistol, vibroknife, and comlink.
A moment passes and the sounds of the retreating rodian's are lost to the jungle. The would probably be easy enough to track, running as they are.
Harsol emerges from the his concealment. Well, I guess I underestimated you, you do seem to have a handle on things. Maybe we can get some folks organized and get out of here.

Ken takes the heavy blaster and offers the knife and communicator to Blih. He tosses the blaster in the air and catches it, 'Fight you for it' he says, giving a sinister smile and letting the light reflect off the brass knuckles he has slipped on his left hand while searching the body.Standing up he raises the heavy blaster and says 'Come on then, let's chase them down.'

Heavy blaster would be handy for Ken but happy to roleplay a 'discussion' over it. If Blih doesn't want the knife Ken will take it and he'll also grab the communicator to give to anyone who doesn't have one later. Does everyone have a weapon now?OOC:
Ken will start heading in the direction of the fleeing Rodians - hopefully the others follow - I'm guessing that's an easy Survival check (1P) - Ken has 1 rank in Survival and Expert Tracker (remove a black and half the time to track) and 3 in Cunning. So either someone could help him and he'll take a blue or he could assist someone with better Cunning (?Blih) and lend them his rank in Survivalload next
