emsquared says:
"Tis my cousin's wedding, but... eh, forgive me. But... Were you invited?", she smiles sheepishly apologetic.
No, my dear. I am just the friendliest cat in town. I worked on the distillery last month. I'll just go give them my best wishes... unless you think I should not?
Marié is not suspecting her of any wrongdoing, but keep up the rejecting and she will be.

I will not overstay my welcome. Of this, I give you my word

OOC:
We haven't explicitly defined what you have on Marié, but lacking that, the starting place would probably be what you have listed in your inventory, yes?
The half-elven woman looks Marié over, "I ... guess ... I see no harm in it? Perhaps, if you would set your... weaponry aside, I could feel more at ease?", she gestures to one of the carts nearby.

"No one will bother it, I'm certain.", she smiles capitulatingly.

Marié puts down her crossbow. She grabbed it as she was expecting danger. The lute was left in at the meeting.
I was expecting trouble, but I can put away the crossbow.
OOC:
Current inventory:
her leather jacket = leather armor
crossbow
dagger
A leather rollup of tools (thinkers and some thief tools, like lockpicks, but not a sag of ballbearings) - also her spellcasting foci
Some practical joke apparatus (3 magical thinkers items. One can make the sound of farts. One is a copper coin where an image of an eye that opens, looks around and closes. And one can make strange lights.)
A coin purse with small coins ~ 1 gp's worth.

The lass smiles and bounces, "Excellent! I'm certain that Lida and Brend will be honored to see you!", she thrusts out an open hand and says, with a big grin, "Please, follow me!"
OOC:
rune, please give me a DC 13 Wisdom save!
...

By now Marabi and Enise have dealt with the dancing-man, and could have returned to the out-building.

...

Meanwhile, Grant and Rolen arrive at the lone tree, down the road a bit from the winery villa. They see Marabi's sword propped up against that tree, and up ahead... it looks like the feline form of Marie with an unknown young woman.
OOC:
There! Everyone's "in the scene now" :P

emsquared, I can recommend the GP browser addon, it integrates with D&D 5e character sheets, and makes it easy to make rolls

I conduct almost all of my pbp on my mobile, using the duckduckgo browser... Does it work with that?

Grant will pick up the sword on his way in. Not like with huge axe that he can't look armed before heading up further.

I'm using the Brave browser, that is build on chrome, so the extention work. I don't know the duckduckgo browser.

To answer your question: And yes it makes perfect sense ;)

Marabi trudges back to the building to pick up her next passenger.

What is that thing with the neck? Where you press the neck of someone in your elbow and pull back with the other arm and the person goes unconscious? That would be very useful.

Marabi is trying to work out whether she should just punch the woman's lights out if she struggles. Those sleeper-hold things she's seen people use look really impressive, but Marabi figures she should probably practice it first. She didn't really want to explain a wedding guest's broken neck to the Alderman.

"WE ARE GOING OUTSIDE. I DO NOT WANT TO PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE UNTIL YOU LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS."

It somehow didn't sound as reassuring when she said it out loud.
May 6, 2021 9:27 am
Marié follows the lass. Hey someone is yelling something about punching faces? It sounds like Marabi?
Marié changes directions and heads towards the yelling

Erm... you...*huff* Grant's your name isn't it? *huff* Rolen coughs out while catching his breath
Is that the *huff* bride? he continues and points at Marie and the young women.
Let's *huff* catch up to them Rolen says, tries to calm his breath and follows Marie as fast as he can

Grant and Rolen see the figure who-might-have-been-Marié entering the winery villa with the unknown woman. And as they rush to catch up, they are intercepted by a pair of dogs who rose from the ground at their approach.

Having been roused several times now, and perhaps sensing the urgency and excitement of the two, the dogs appear a little more determined to protect their home. They continue to growl and bark, unwilling to give ground, but also not coming at the two unless they try to just run around them.

...

As Marabi shouts about the possibility of impending violence and goes to move the woman slouched against the wall, the few people pounding out the sloppy rhythm - using their hands, a horse-collar with bells, and wooden serving spoons - stop.

The dancers gradually begin to cease their tragic cavorting, and the eyes of every conscious reveler - perhaps a dozen or more - turn to take in Marabi and Enise. A few of those people begin to weep and one just vomits upon the floor.

The last thread of the music - a set of wood-pipes played by an elf, slouched on a hay bale against the wall - trails off and the musician sits up blinking uncomprehendingly, looking to the two.

Four wedding guests, just as exhausted and disheveled looking as anyone, begin to take slow, cautious steps toward Marié.

"...dance...", one of them whispers hoarsely at first - dangerously.

"Dance!", another shouts.

"D-dance-ance dance... DANCE!...", a chorus of voices start saying in progressively louder agreement.

The pipe-player stands, you can see now that his clothes are not dirty or disheveled like the others, and he asks angrily and dramatically, his use of the common tongue is odd... archaic, "Why hast thou disturbed our merry revel, interlopers!? And with such a dearth of decorum??"
OOC:
If you persist in trying to move the woman, or want to make any moves toward anyone else, let's roll initiative :)
...

The lass appeared to be taking Marié in the direction of Marabi's voice and the music, but as the tabaxi moves to separate herself from the half-elven girl, she shouts, "Hey! You can't just barge in there! You'll scare them!"

Marié has just exited the winery villa courtyard, and sees the out-building with various figures in it - now mostly still as death for the moment - perhaps 80' away. But suddenly and rather inexplicably, brambled weeds and vines sprout from the ground around and before her! They snag at her feet and clothes, threatening to immobilize her!

Marabi sees the elf mouthing something.

"WHAT?"

She points to her ears.

"I CANNOT HEAR YOU. THE MUSIC IS MAKING THE PEOPLE CRAZY. PERHAPS IT DOES NOT MAKE ELVES CRAZY."

Marabi points at one of the people on the floor.

"YOU GRAB HER LEGS"
OOC:
I guess that's initiative?

Marié's claws spring forth and tear into the wines as she tries to free herself. But the wines quickly entwines her wrists and she can not more.
Well, this sucks!

GeneCortess says:

OOC:
No check necessary...
There's neatly manicured rows of vines that run out perpendicular to the path up to the villa, but unless Grant thinks he's faster than a dog, it doesn't seem like heading a different direction is going to get him away from, or appease, the dogs unless it's away from the villa...

...
Adam says:
OOC:
I guess that's initiative?
OOC:
Correct.
As Marabi persists in moving the woman, four members of the wedding party come for her and Enise!

...

The half-elven lass trots up to the side of Marié, staying outside the overgrown area.

Her hands are covering her mouth, as if to stifle a scream, and her eyes are wide, "What!?!...", she rasps, "...what is this??"

She swats at the vines near the edge without hitting them, "Miss, are you alright?!", she asks, looking at Marié in a panic.

Absolutely, Rolen can have advantage on that check for offering up a ration!
The young dog comes forward to Rolen's offer, wagging it's tail and licking his hand. The older dog just takes the ration and plops on the ground, snuffling the good stuff out of it.

Enise knew she should be helping Marabi but she wasn't even sure where to start trying to drag the revellers out. As Marabi sees to gestures to the legs of the one she is trying to grab Enise assumes she is the one being spoken to an going to help, though her eye linger of the piper who stands up, clocking he was not like the rest.

She definitely notices as the other s start to surge of them and lets out another panicked noise as she gets ready to defend.

Well Grant looks like we... Rolen looks up but doesn't see Grant beside him but rather pulling on a vine that grows on the villa
Ey Grant! No time to play with the vine. Looks like the dogs will let us pass
Rolen continues to hurry after Marie
