Seeing Chariot's kick bouncing off the door harmlessly, Gharn decides to try his signature door slam™.

The door barely shakes against the combined assault of Chariot and Inquistor. It appears that something is bracing the door from the other side.
The pink mist is slowly drifting down from the ceiling and pooling on the floor. It seems quite dense for a gas, and at the rate it was gathering, the group has around 10 minutes before it reaches head height.

Seeing that his and Inquisitor’s attempts to break down the door were completely unsuccessful, Louis frowns at the door in consternation. "…Well, that was embarrassing. Anyone got something else they’d like to try?"

Banshee has her warhammer and can begin hammering on it, trying to break through. She'll bang on it for a few blows, see if it has any noticable effect.

After a couple of strikes, door is starting to crumble a bit in the spot Banshee hammered. It is however a thick door made entirely out of stone. The door can be broken, but it might take awhile.

Gharn bodyslams the door repeatedly, his words underlining each slam. He's trying to reserve his powers for as long as he can, as you never know what's around the corner with this place.

Inquisitor’s repeated slamming into the door begins to crack it open. On the other side someone appears to have wedged a couple of ornate stone chairs underneath the door knob.
To most this likely would have prevented any normal man from opening the door. Inquisitor doesn’t seem to care as he simply rips the door off it’s sturdy hinges and plows his way into the hallway once more.

Louis whistles appreciatively as he steps over the rubble of the door. "Nicely done, Inquisitor!"

Gharn is panting and simply grins at Chariot as he tries to catch his breath.
"Bloody doors, am I right?"
He quickly regains his composure and leads his companions back to the hallway, facing the demolished door in a defensive formation - his shield glowing in a faint blue aura.

Following Inquisitor into the hallway, Louis looks around (using the mirror where reasonable) for any sign of their unseen adversary or, at least, a clue as to where they might have gone.

Shortly after Inquisitor bashes through the door, the pink mist stops and a scampering in the ceiling can be heard making its way to the southern hall.
Whatever it was it’s not interested in fighting you directly.
Seeing that it’s trap has failed, it has fled.

"…How irritating," Louis remarks, frowning at the ceiling as he listens to the sounds of something scurrying around up there. "I can’t believe I’m suggesting this, but is there something to be said for climbing up there and chasing after this thing? I worry that if we ignore it and go investigate the other corridor, it will just try to ambush or trap us again."

"I've no tricks for getting through the ceiling. And even if we do, whatever crawl space is up there, do you think it's horse sized?" Banshee thinks it's a good plan to chase it but can't see how.

Gharn being obviously irritated by their encounter with the stubborn door, shouts at the top of his lungs:
"Oi you! Come back here and stop bloody snickering ya twat!

After his venting, he turns to his companions:
"I don't see any way we can chase that thing. The only thing we can do is press onwards and stay vigilant if you ask me."

"You both make some excellent points," Louis concedes, clearly very glad to abandon the idea, though he keeps an ear out for any further noises in the ceiling as he follows the rest of the group to the southern hallway.

At the end of the southern hallway is another western branch hallway. It has a door on its southern wall about halfway down it which seems to be ajar. At the end of the western hall is another black stone slab with the smug figure carved in it with 4 circular divots.

This room is sparsely lit, barely illuminated by candles in select locations. Just enough to navigate with normal eyes but faint enough to miss major details in the dark patches.
It’s a fairly large room, big enough to have 30ish people and still have enough room to weave between them. You know this because that’s how many people are in this room. Or rather former people. Stone statues in various poses liter the room. All of them exceptionally formed and aesthetically pleasing to look at. Even the faces look to be pleasant, rather than the fear of the ones that were shoved into that closet.
Perhaps a room of her favorites?
The pink mist is in this room as well, pooled at about knee height but otherwise not doing anything.
At the far end from where you entered is an elegant double door with carved intertwining snakes.

Gharn tries to take in his surroundings carefully, for his eyes are naturally accustomed to darkness. He signals his companions to be quiet and uses his mirrored shield to look around just in case.

With his eyes that pierce through the darkness, Inquisitor searches for possible threats in the shadows.
There are a couple more statues lingering in the darkness, but they are as still as stone. Nothing appears to be hiding within the mist either. It seems to be flowing undisturbed without any mass displacing it aside from the statues.
