Clarice will try her best to stick to any shadows and sneak down in that direction.

Linston will stay close enough to run up if there is trouble, but not close enough to ruin her stealth.

I agree he says For all we know it's the guy we came here to save originally.

"I could scout the southern path myself to see what's there." Elceran offers.

Clarice blends into the shadows so seamlessly, you quickly loose sight of her.

After losing sight of Clarice, Elceran moves south.

Coming to a stop Clarice turns to Linston and puts her index finger over her lips to signal him to remain quiet. She motions him to join her and points into the room.

Once Linston has had a look she looks up and shrugs.

"Leave him be? Question him?" she whispers.

I don't want to leave anyone behind us. Tie him up and question him I guess.

He points to his staff.

I don't have anything sharp to hold to his throat to keep him quiet.

Fishing around in her robe Clarice produces an old, ill maintained dagger. She flashes a wicked grin to Linston.

"Let's do this!"

The gnome tip-toes over to the sleeping man and kneels besides him, positioning the dagger, point down, directly at the base of his neck.

As she approaches, the strong smell of wine almost overwhelms her. The sleeping man is pickled to be sure. Short of sticking the knife in him, it's unlikely anything will wake him up...

Quickly realizing the man is not going to be a threat, or even awake, in the time that she and her friends will be in the cave, Clarice stands up and sheaths her weapon.

"Drunk as a skunk." she smiles over to Linston.

She'll grab a few of the nicer looking gems and pocket them while walking back towards the hallway.

"Shall we join the others?"

Elceran moves quietly back to meet Clarice. "The eggs are this way I think. I can hear excited talking."

Linston will grab any good looking gems and follow along.

"Want to make sure you and Grim get your pets before the cultists claim them all?" Clarice jokes, throwing a wink at Elceran as she responds before motioning over her shoulder back to the storage area.

"Linston and I just found a cultist passed out from booze. He won't be bothering anyone for quite a while judging from the smell coming off of him. Nothing else of interest in there."

She pockets her gem and when Linston is ready to go she'll ask Elceran to lead the way.

Elceran starts back down the southern path and peeks around the corner where he heard the voices.

Clarice will stick close to Elceran as he peeks around the corner; ready to act if needed.
