"Two guards and that beast!" Clarice responds at the sight of Langdedrosa.
"But if you think we can take all three, let's do it."

"Got anything that might help the prisoner out? Or some magic trick to even us out a bit more?"

"No, no magic tricks. But I may be able to hit all three of them with a few well placed spells once we get the prisoner out of the way."
Clarice holds up both hands hoping the prisoner will see. On her left hand she holds up three fingers, on the right she motions for the prisoner to come towards herself and Elceran.
"As soon as the prisoner breaks towards us."
She starts the countdown on her left hand, two fingers, one finger...

Any port in a storm, Riardin thinks to himself. He launches himself forward and rolls across the floor past the Half Dragon, aiming to land by the newcomers. He involuntarily groans performing the maneuver, his muscles stiff from imprisonment and poor food...

With the prisoner out of the line of fire Clarice extends both hands forward and quickly recites an incantation, taking a single, lunging step forward on the last word.

The half dragon as lightning speed reflexes, but Clarice has a moments worth of planning on her side.
A fish of steel is seen from Langdedrosa's belt, but immediately dust and dirt is kicked into the air by a shockwave.
BOOOM!!!
The blast hits the half dragon directly in the face, and his hulking form blocks most of the blast from hitting the thugs. They are all pushed back, Langderosa's claws scratching the stone floor itself.
Langderosa: -7 HP
Thug #1: -4 HP
Thug #2: -4 HP
Your ears ring as the blast echoes again and again through the chamber. The dust settles, and the half dragon smiles. A single drop of blood falling from his nose. He recognizes faces from the duel at Greenest, he smiles, a toothy smile, and says
"You survived! I don't know wether to be disappointed or pleased. It's a mix of both I think."

Trying avoid getting into a physical battle, Clarice breaks to the right, attempting to put as much space between her and the attackers. Once she's as far as she can get she unleashes a quick series of magical darts at Langderosa, hoping to take down the biggest threat first.

Absent a weapon, Riardin also takes a step back. He looks again at the belts around him (Clarice, Elceran, even Langderosa's), desperately searching for any weapon that he could wield...

Glowing darts streak across the room, and Elceran's fists are flying right behind them. Bright flashes fill the cavern. The half dragon, bobs and weaves dodging several blows, but taking a few on the chin as well.

"PROTECT FRULAM!!" Langderosa shouts at the thugs "I'll finish these worms myself...."
He spins on you, eyes glowing with rage. For the briefest instant he smiles, before his jaws unlock and lightning bursts forth from his maw.
The room explodes with light, our heroes fall.
Only Elceran gets back up.
