this centipede fight was interesting:
Alana could only score the raise on the Fighting roll (granting her an extra d6 for damage) because of the Gang-Up bonus that both Alice and Cody provided. Without, she would have hit but not raised.
So her damage roll, without a raise, would have not passed the target Toughness. With the raise it did.
And if Cody had not hit the critter making it Shaken, Alana's damage would not have caused a Wound killing it.
