millyk, I feel I got misunderstood. I did not asked WHO summoned dragon. It is obvious indeed.
I asked the lore of term summoned

As a player I know that DnD there are summoning spells which - if caster loose concentration - cause summon to become hostile. More over I know that these spells usually have a limited duration (i.e. hour) and it would be most logical now to hide and wait for that duration. I hope my PC does not know all of that and will proceed into the keep to investigate.

Hey Guys, sorry I havent post for a while, I have two part time jobs and I did not have the power to post anything...

I assume we proceed with the game. Since it have been quite a while, could we have a recap or at least current situation description. Because what I read is totally confusing

Recap
1.
Party arrive at Greenest to find it that guards are fighting with cultists, while kobolds marauding, but all guars we see are soon dead, we are able to fight back though, capturing one cultust.
2.
Party meet some survivor commoners and help them to the keep, attacked by dragon
3.
Hunter and Xarathon get on the walls to help defenders with their ranged attacks
Meanwhile Brommyr and Jaelyn (still holding imprisoned cultist) is escorted to Castellan Escobert The Red (superintendent)

4. (now is the confusing part)
Castellan looks at Xarathon who is on top of the wall...
Castellan want party to return to the city to seek for more survivors, but do not care for anyone to fight the cultists or stop kobolds. He is so afraid of cultists who keep out of ranged weapon range that will not allow to open the gates.

Some clarification would be pretty good, because I read #3 and 4 slightly differently:

We entered the keep and asked for who we should talk to about helping. They sent us to the Castellan (Escobert the red, dwarf with all the keys in the keep). However, Hunter did not accompany us to them, he went directly to the walls. Xarathon presumably went with us to Escobert as they addressed him, however, they then went up on the walls as well (unless we're retconning that movement after seeing what the dwarf said for where they needed help).

Once we met with Escobert and he saw the prisoner, he told us to go see Governor Nighthill because he was too busy dealing with defenses to deal with an interrogation.

So I see us currently as:
Hunter is on the wall, has not met Escobert and is unaware of what instructions he gave and unaware of the tunnel.

Xarathon met Escobert and asked what we can do, he mentioned retrieving residents via a tunnel instead of the main gate. Xarathon stated they were joining Hunter on the walls, but not sure if that will be changed based on the talk with Escobert now.

Brommyr was taken to where the injured are being helped, but was then taken to Escobert as well.

Jaelyn brought the prisoner to Escobert but he was not able to take charge of that and instructed that the prisoner be taken to Governor Nighthill.

Agreed that we need a refresher (or a restatement by players) of where we believe our characters to be at the moment.

you are right. If this is better for story I don't mind if DM narrate hunter is together with the rest of the group to skip unimportant interaction. I understand there will be no narrative for players on the walls achieving anything

Guys you are asking me questions that your character needs to decide what they are gonna do or where he is. If you skip some info, then another member will inform you. I do not see the point discussing that here, since Hunter decided to stay at walls to help on defense and if Brommyr wants to go heal himself fine too... so what I am trying to say all your questions can be answered by roleplaying and just keep it rolling....is not wasting time if the group is split, you just need to regroup and Jaelyn and Xarathon will tell you about the new mission, with a quick post I inform them about the mission, thats it.

Ps: about Xarathon you are confused, because Ganesh made a mistake and thought Hunter is with you. So he needs to correct his post. SO simple.

if only we could find a day to just do a session online on discord all of us...it would be nice, but being around the world make it difficult.

My questions are only confirming that my reading of our adventure so far is correct and the characters are all where I think they are in order to write proper posts.

Well you can choose not to help and not do this mission, if you want.
