You all collect your things that are needed for investigation, leaving the rest of the contents in your footlockers or locked cabinets (in case you wanted to offload anything, this allows for that).

You begin to travel through Stormreach, and it is still a few hours before sunrise.
OOC:
I would like Wisdom (Perception) checks and Charisma (Perception) checks from the lot of you.

The Wisdom (Perception) check is to determine what you notice, and the Charisma (Perception) check takes that information you get from the first one and contextualizes it in terms of power dynamics with the groups that you observe out at this hour.

Ghillie grumbled a bit more about his loss of a soft bed at his age as they walked. Perhaps that was why he wasn't necessarily paying as much attention to the unfamiliar sights and sounds and peoples of this similarly unfamiliar continent.

Sorry I didn't make that more clear. The competition went to about 2, and then you trekked to follow the weird warforged guy with the halfling, and then you guys regrouped, gathered your things, and headed out.
