What happened was very fast, Mycroft got sucked in total darkness and rapidly bound. He felt a face near his own.

If you want to live shut-up and do not move. This is a neutral ground I will not hurt you if I can avoid it, but I need to keep you hostage until your friends give enough time to fly away.

As he was in complete darkness, Mycroft couldn't see his captor's face, so he didn't know what kind of threat he may pose.

"Hey, hey... This must be a mistake. I don't know who you are, but we came here just looking for a friend. If you need to flee, that's okay, we are not chasing you. As you said, this is neutral grounds.", he said, hoping to ease the situation with the tone of his voice.

"Surely we don't need this.", Mycroft added, referring to his ties.

Sorry my good sir, but I will not take any chance. May be you came by ill-chance at my doorstep but to me it is a question of survival; it may seems extreme, but it will not be very long an hour at most, the door will open automatically and you will see your friends; that is if you do not try to cause me any problem, you and your friends.

Yes you are not far from the door (I do not copy here the exchange, since you can read it easily in the main subject -- yes I am somewhat lazy), but be careful the guy is rather nervous and he could kill you, you are sure of that. btw I do not hesitate to kill PC if I decide the situation demands it, especially if they are warned.
