A Pathfinder leading a diplomatic envoy from the dwarven holds of the Five Kings Mountains has gone missing, and the balance of power in a time of war hangs on her rescue. The Pathfinder Society's divinations indicate the agent was waylaid in the theocratic nation of Razmiran, when one of her escorted diplomats failed to pay a requested tithe. Now it falls to the party to enter Razmiran, locate the missing Pathfinder and the dwarven diplomats, and escape with their lives.

Going to run Pathfinder Society Adventure #5-01: The Glass River Rescue converted to Savage Pathfinder rules.

Hi.

There were interest in Savage Pathfinder and I offered to convert a Pathfinder Society mission and run a group through it. I have finally found the time to get the conversion done. Decided on Pathfinder Society Adventure #5-01: The Glass River Rescue.

Is @ctme2000, @Dunko, @Pedrop, @feanaro00, @JoshuaMabry, @Ranimara and @WhtKnt still interested. That's a few more than I would prefer to run for, so please post a character concept and I will do the hard thing to make a selection at the end of next week. Anyone else who wants to play also feel free to post a concept.

Li Xingchi - investigator

I’m not an expert in pathfinder lore, but I presume we could adjust bellow story to this setting:
Li was send by his Daimyō(or pathfinder/fantasy equivalent) to find his lost or kidnapped daughter. He was royal/noble house investigator with high status and position. Many successes on his account. Many cases closed in rekord time. He was famous and very respected. He had access to many luxuries and his master's cavernous library ... but that was five, very long years ago ... now he must accept whatever work he can get, just to survive and continue his main investigation. Desperation starts to look into his eyes and he begins to realize that his Lord's "little girl" is long dead, or is already a mature 19-year-old woman. But he will not rest until he is able to say to himself that he has done everything that could have be done. Which also means that he will never be able to return to his homeland again…

Still very interested. Kurn is an odd dwarf, with his hair dyed purple and spiked into a mohawk and his beard a bright orange. He carries a huge axe, the head of which is as wide as he himself is. In combat, he tends to lose himself in a berserk frenzy; frothing at the mouth, eyes bulging, etc. Outside of combat, he is arrogant, overconfident, and has the charisma of a turnip, but he's loyal to his friends.

I am definitely interested if you have an open spot. I am familiar with Savage Pathfinder. Here is my character concept.

Saveel Radanavich - Wizard and Scholar

Saveel is analytical, cautious, practical. She detests violence and uses it as a tool when other methods fail. Saveel is obsessed with the pursuit of knowledge that leads her into the dangers of adventure to kind lost secrets and forbidden tomes. Saveel wishes to locate the missing Pathfinder and the dwarven diplomats to restore honor to her family name.

Background:
The Radanaviches were nomads without a home traveling the lands in colorful covered wagons called vardos. The Radanavich family name became associated with a disregard for morality. Madame Irena the matriarch skillfully masterminded many games of con artistry, theft, and kidnapping. The abduction of a young man being sold to a vampire ended criminal activities of the Radanavich family. The wrath of the aggrieved father left Saveel as the only surviving member of the Radanavich family. Saveel, ten years old hid in a vardo during the onslaught. Saveel was found and adopted by a traveling wizard.

Alternative character option from me. We can choose which one will be better for this setting. This one is much more developed in terms of backstory and personality - still leaving proper "blanks" to fill in - but it can be better or worse depending on situation and your assumptions about this game. Also you can know me from "Starfall (SW 1e)" game and know that I'm quite dedicated player:)

Kaze Lasaro - religious monk

I'm still interested! I'm new to Savage Pathfinder still, though I have the books for it. I don't know the setting lore at all, but here's a character concept rolling around in my head after browsing through my pdfs:

Asilyeh is a Half-Elven woman and Pathfinder Initiate who is still trying to prove herself and prepare for her test to become a full associate. She has an adventurous spirit and an almost troublesome level of curiosity, as well as a deep-seated dread of being abandoned or left behind somewhere. It was on one particular delve into some old ruins that she found herself in some trouble with a dusty artifact she found. Fiddling with it and the mechanisms of it, Asilyeh collapsed into a slumber and found her spirit somewhere far away and communed with something. Her memories of that encounter are hazy and when she awoke, she found that several weeks had passed and she was back at the nearest Lodge, being tended to. That incident left her with a newly awakened connection to magic and a magical creature at her side. It's awakened a drive in her, where before she was rather aimless and just seeking excitement, now she wants to find out what happened to her.

Just a vague concept still that I'd flesh out more if I get chosen. I'm not yet sure how I'd actually build her. Toying with Sorcerer or Witch or Summoner right now for the familiars/Eidolon with the magical-pet part of the concept. Though I'm also tempted to not use the class edges and perhaps either remove the magical pet (since I don't think there's a way to get a Familiar without them, unless I've missed something) or work it into flavoring for Powers instead.

Since Ranamara mentioned the witch/summoner, is the advanced players guide that came out recently also available for character creation (in particular it's new class edges), or only the core rulebook?

I didn't go in on that kickstarter, so don't have access to the Advanced Players Guide myself yet, so sadly can't check any of the content from that book.

No worries, there's plenty to try in the core rulebook. Just wondering. Thanks,

Still very interested, if you'll have me.

Oops, sorry, should have checked on that first. Though in case you didn't know, the Advanced Players Guide pdf is now available to buy. I missed the Kickstarter for it too, but grabbed the pdf a couple days ago when I noticed it was up.

But if sticking to just core, I'll probably go either Sorcerer or do a build without any class edges. Definitely makes the choice easier. :)

So, I sent out invites to y'all. Ended with 6 players which is at the upper end of what I feel comfortable running for.
