Boseman High School Shenanigans: Episode 1

The Cafeteria

"Not that far," Zach replies. "We're from Lansing." He wonders how much he should tell Aaron but their conversation is flowing, so he adds, "I had some trouble at my old school - like I said, I was not popular - so we moved to give me a fresh start." He doesn't argue on Aaron's distinction between cool and popular even if he's not fully sure he agrees.

Instead, he asks, "Hey, Aaron, would you like to come outside and wait for the Uber with me there? Unless you're still eating or something, I mean. I'd just... appreciate the company."

"Smart!" Lily says, tapping her forehead!

"You’re making sure it’s locked down before all the offers start rolling in." she says, puffing out her chest.

"Any minute now, everyone will have heard about what I did and be just dying to go with me!

Sorry, everyone. Taken!" she looks around at the crowd of absolutely no one watching her!

"And… I’ve no idea!" she says, suddenly wide eyed. "I’m just so tired of everyone being so loud and obnoxious and dumb."

"Sorry. You wanted to go somewhere, right?" suddenly remembering that quickly forgotten oddness with Fred.

This was a little more than Emily had bargained for. She really didn't expect the custodian to hold onto her, what with all the sexual misconduct rules and all. So she shrieks, taking a clue from Steve.

"Gromn is groping me! Help! Someone help!"

Zach is quiet for a long moment after this question. He can't tell Aaron the truth. Right? Just when Aaron probably thinks he won't get an answer at all anymore, Zach says, "People don't always accept people who are different." He's wrestling with himself about whether he should say more. He doesn't have to tell Aaron that he's trans. He can't. But maybe he could subtly let him know that he's gay? Just to feel out his reaction. Leaving enough deniability in case it goes badly. He opens his mouth to say something else when he has to suddenly stop in his tracks as he almost runs over Lily by the door.

"Oh, sorry!" he says. His eyes wander to the girls' held hands, then dart first to Lily's eyes, then Wendy's. Is this what he thinks it is? Even without knowing, he feels a little sting of jealousy that they could show their affection openly like this while he's terrified of doing the same. He swallows those feelings, though. First of all, he doesn't even know if he's right. And second, they're pretty mean even if he is. "Where are you two headed?" he asks. Emboldened by what he perceived - or thought to perceive - between them, he puts his hand on Aaron's arm, trying to be as casual about it as possible. "Aaron is helping me get home to change," he explains. Then, "Oh. Uh, right. By the way, this is Aaron Connery. Aaron, Wendy, Lily," he briefly introduces them. "I don't know if you've all met." Then he clears his throat nervously, still not taking his hand off Aaron's arm unless the boy indicates discomfort about it.

Letting herself get pulled from the cafeteria with a laugh, Lily follows along behind as Wendy leads her by the hand.

"Oh, hi!" Lily says, taking a step back from where she almost bowled over Zach. Her eyes meet his, and then she looks at Aaron, and back to Zach.

"Us? Great question. Where are we going?" the young reporter asks Wendy, breaking the staring contest.

"Oh, right! The Sprite!" Lily follows up, seeing the hand go to Aaron’s arm. It takes everything in her not to wink, or make it obvious.

"Yeah, it got us, too. But not as much as you." she says, waving a hand up and down towards Zach.

"Aaron, right! Yeah, we’ve met. Kind of! You were on the cover late last year for that… that thing, right?" she says, a little distracted.

And then the girl cocks an ear, as if she heard something beyond the conversation.

Kelly's House

He's been in similar situations before, he thinks: those moments at a party where the bottle points to you; numerous girl friends in most grades, his intense and more mature romance with Priya; even stolen kisses in the river side. But this is Kelly Fucking Unger, and she had been ruling the hearts of Boseman for a long time with all the skill of a sexy despot.


"Hi, um," he takes a step forward, dropping her clothes and his shirt to the side, "Did I tell you that I really love the taste of," (dramatic pause) "Sprite?" His tongue moistens his lips ever so slightly.

Emily's eyes look pleadingly at her brother as he tries unsuccessfully to help her get away from the maniac teacher.

"You can't do this! This is sexual harassment! Leave me alone!" She tries to claw at the teacher's face and arms, anywhere she can latch onto. She even tries to bite and kick. This shit was getting serious.

When Lily cocks her head, Zach listens as well. "That sounds like... screams?" It's muffled and there's enough noise in the cafeteria that he isn't sure. But it's enough to make him uneasy. He quickly glances around, trying to check if Banks is still accounted for. Zach wouldn't put it past the jock to find someone else to take his anger out on after Steve got away.

"We, ah, should probably check that out, right?" he asks hesitantly, glancing between Aaron and Lily. To Lily, he adds, "Maybe keep your camera ready, Lois Lane. That worked pretty well the last time."

Zach stares at the scene in disbelief. These are two adults, employed by the school. Why are they attacking students? And then it clicks. Somehow, they must be working with these guys from yesterday. And if that's the case, he can't let them take Emily and Steve to do whatever the hell it is they're planning to do with them. "Let go of them! You can't do that. My friend has a camera. You'll both get fired!" he threatens.

"Aaron!" He turns to the boy next to him. "Go find Romero. Or someone. Get help!" Then he tries to move past the waiting Romanov to help Steve pull Emily out of Gromn's grip.

Zach manages to dodge Ms Romanov's attempt to stop him and continues right past her to Gromn. "Let go of her, you creep!" he tells the man, then he reaches for Gromn's fingers, trying to pull at them to try and bend them back and make it uncomfortable or painful for him to continue to hold on.

Kelly's House

It starts with a chase through the upstairs of the house, with Freddie loudly threatening to lick her clean of Sprite. "Head to toe!" With a squeal she charges away and the chase is on.

When he finally does catch her, or she allows herself to be caught, the game turns into One Quarter of An Inch -- how close can you get without touching. After the most erotic twenty minutes of his life, Freddie "loses" that one, and that turns into him being forced to pay the penalty, to give her a foot massage. Then a back massage.
