Boseman High School Shenanigans: Episode 1

Round One order is Lily, Emily, Zach, Tall Goon, Short Goon. Lily is probably what, 30' / 10m from the SUV? That's after walking 10m, so Emily and Zach are ~20m from the SUV and the onrushing goombas.

More weirdness with the SWADE rules. Lily, who is going to run, is supposed to add her "Running" die to her Pace. She doesn't have a Running die. If might be a d6 default for everyone, but I think I'm going to just tie it to Athletics. So she'll roll her Athletics die (only, not the Wild Die) and add that result to her pace. She can travel that number x 2 in meters... and any rolls made while running are at -2 (for running). To get a great shot with her camera before she takes off, I'd like a roll as well -- and it's not clear what that would be. Let's say... Taunt?

If she doesn't want the -2 to the roll, she can forego Running and just Move -- her Pace in meters x 2.

Emily indeed got a crit failure, so I'll post up the results of that shortly.

Zach is up, and need Lily's decisions / rolls from my OOC above.

The "Running" die doesn't explode, but Zach still rolls a 4, increasing his pace to 10, so he can cross the distance and try to free Emily!

Going to wait on Lily's rolls before moving to the goons.

From the Discord, I think I KCC said 'No Running' -- so no -2 to Lily's the roll, and success at snapping some solid candids. So, carrying on with the round, Emily and Zach are engaged with the shorter goon, Lily has run back to the van (range: 20m to the SUV / goons), and Fred is about to join the scene, coming out of the hospital.)

Zach is Shaken -- the punch beat his parry, and the 7 damage beat his Toughness, but there was no raise / wound. The tall goon cannot reach Lily this round, and since Fred is joining the melee, I'll pull a card for him. Emily, worth noting that you posted about going for the bat -- couldn't do that in Round One, but it's a possibility now. It would be an action to move to the bat and grab it, and another if you want to attack. Multi-action rules tell us you can do all this, but at a -2 penalty to rolls. FYI.

Round Two
Round Two order is Lily, Emily, Zach, Tall Goon, Fred, Short Goon. The shorter goon, Emily, and Zach are 20m west of the van. The tall goon is 3m from Lily -- they are on either side of the van. Fred is 5m east of Lily, coming out of the building. Makes relative sense?

Just post that you're doing that. Use your regular move tp get into the van, and your action to find and grab the (other three?) bats. Anyone close enough to Move to you and grab one can do so with a Free Action. (Like their are drawing their own weapon.)
