Boseman High School Shenanigans: Episode 1

At the teens talk and debate, as they theorize and wonder WTF is going on, really, a sound from the dark road that goes past the dairy bar grabs their attention. It’s the growl of a V8 — and one that Fred recognizes. Seconds later, the vehicle comes into sight, then speeds past, down the road, its red taillights fading.

It’s Belinda’s Range Rover!

A text comes in on Fred's phone as he rings Belinda, and the boy only sees part of the message at the top of his screen before his stepmother somewhat surprisingly picks up right away.

Sarah: Freddie u there? I think B just came home? She didn't...
"Fred! Is that you, sweetie?" Belinda's voice sounds on the other end of the line.

"Sorry I've been out of contact. I had meetings all day. Where are you?"

Nearby, Wendy is giving Lily a look back, and she shrugs... and then reddens a little when her friend's attention is on her a little too long -- which forces the freckled girl to cross her eyes and stick her tongue out at her bestie.

While Fred talks, Emily's phone buzzes as well.

Steve: hey sis
Steve: sup
Steve: bored 🥱
Steve: will you bring home a 🍕
Steve: xtra cheeeeeeese
