The Woods on the Other Side of the Banks (Fred and Emily)

Belinda Solomon

Making sure she's between Fred and the cases, and then moving forward so her stepson can't get an angle to even glimpse them, Belinda makes a sympathetic face as she towards the teen. She does look disheveled, her hair and her clothes, but her expression is welcoming.

"You need to be honest with yourself, Fred. We both know why you followed me here. I see how you look at me. I know it's torture for you, living with me, being ashamed of how I make you feel."

Closer now, Belinda comes, and the boy can see in the moonlight that the woman isn't wearing a bra, and that the cool night air is affecting her as it does all women who look like her in teen horror movies. Her voice drops to a whisper and her fingers go to the straining buttons on her blouse.

"We could do it, Fred. Right here. Right now. No one would know."

Lily flicks the button on the dash that undoes the central locking. She clambers over her seat, and reaches to open the door for Rose.

"Get out of here!" she beckons the girl out of the car.

"You try spew on us and we’ll crack your head open like we did to Gromm!" she threatens, showing the alien the bats they had on hand!

Spun Out on a Quiet Side Street (Zach, Lily, Not-Rose and Wendy)

Rose Tidwell

It takes both Rose and Wendy a few seconds to orient because of Lily's dramatic spin-out, but as soon as the van door is unlocked and open, Rose is out of there, running off into the darkness for all she's worth, not even looking back.

Wendy climbs over the second row seats and starts looking after Zach. He's not shaking or seizing anymore, but he does appear to be paralyzed, catatonic, and struggling to breathe.

"Gross! Ew! FUCKING YUCK!" Wendy says as she wipes the boy's face and clears his airways as best she can with her hands.

"I did not sign up for this! What the heck did she do to him?!"

Lily breathes a sigh of relief as the girl takes off running.

"He’s going to be pissed about that! But what were we supposed to do?" she asks Wendy.

"Is he awake? Try not to touch that goo. He’ll be pissed if we take him to the hospital too. But we need to dilute that stuff!"

Lily moves back into position, and starts up the van once the door has been secured once again and locked.

She moves off, hands shaking, driving in the direction of her house.

With one hand, she sends a message to her mom:

Lily: Mom! Can you run me a bath, please? 💙

Lily: Be home in five!

"What!?" Emily jumps out from behind the tree, lunging for the woman.

"You dirty bitch! You're his mother for Chrissakes!"

Emily, shocked and incensed as she is intends to shove the disheveled woman as far away from Freddie as she can.

Freddie is overcome with the offer from Belinda, and immediately flashes to "Dear Penthouse, I've never written you before but I had to tell you about what happened to me. My girlfriend and I were in the woods, when my stepmom showed up and propositioned us..."

Despite his immediate and very attractive first plan to accept and talk Emily into something lurid, he is most strongly motivated by his sense of vengeance and loyalty. He has to figure this out to save Belinda, and well, possibly everyone ever.

From behind Emily's frantic pushing, he says, "We should do it. You show me yours first, would ya? What's in the cases? Is it slug monsters? Did you eat a space slug?"

"SERIOUSLY FRED! Do I look like a pervert??"

Emily is shocked into abandoning her shoving as she glares at Freddie in disbelief while her hands reflexively roll into fists. She is no prude, far from it, but a threesome with an older woman is a little much. She knows him well enough to know what he's thinking.

At Lily's House (Zach, Lily, Wendy)

As Lily pulls up in Emily's minivan, the smell inside the vehicle is atrocious, and Wendy (who is by now a mess herself) works with a bottle of water and some paper napkins to clean up Zach as best she can. The boy seems close to waking.

"O-M-G," she says, quietly, "O-M-G, I cannot believe I didn't see this, Lily. Zach is wearing a binder. He has boobs. He's a she! I mean, he's not. He's Zach, but he's transgender!"

As she gets out, Lily gets a text from her mom, and by the time she pulls open the sliding side door, Wendy is helping Zach sit up and come back to groggy consciousness.

Lily's Mom: Okay pumpkin, it's running! Your father and I are going to keep watching our movie, kay?

OOC:

Zach is awake and aware, but feels terrible and is still nasty. The bath is probably a great idea.

Belinda Solomon frowns when there's suddenly someone else intruding, and suddenly she's fighting off Emily Richardsen's shoves and slaps. Fred is talking, but the blonde's focus remains on the teen in front of her.

She's not supposed to be here, and she's just going to complicate things.

So when Emily turns back to address Fred, Belinda makes her move...

Zach groggily opens his eyes, feeling like absolute shit. He blinks and looks around, then turns his eyes to Lily and asks in a weak voice, "Where is Rose?"

"Maybe don’t announce it to the street." Lily whispers to Wendy. She takes a look at Zach then, taking in the whole scene. It feels wrong, and yet she couldn’t help but feel curious. Now wasn’t the time, and yet… whatever came next demanded dealing with this part.

"Let’s just get him inside. Straight upstairs. If anyone stops us, I’ll just tell them he got drunk and called us instead of his mom and dad. Easy."

She starts to help Wendy lug the boy out of the van and up to the front door. Fiddling with her key, she gets them in and makes a break for the bathroom!

"Rose, eh… Yeah, Rose. She…" the girl stammers, taking extra care to avoid mom and dad, and the question.

When Lily evades his question, Zach stops walking, though he's still weak enough that the two girls could easily pull him with them if they wanted. He turns his face towards Lily and stares at her with as much conviction as his half-conscious state allows. "Lily," he says firmly. "Where. Is. My. Sister?"

Fred jumps his mom. He'll pay a price in therapy for this no doubt, but wants to tackle her to the ground. "Grab the cases and go!"

At first, Emily hesitates. Is he gonna do it right here in front of her? Maybe he's trying to get rid of her.

The cloud of jealousy weighs heavily on her head but she finally realizes how foolish she is being. Besides, wasn't Belinda being a total bitch?

Dying to know, hopefully, not literally, what's in the cases, she does as told and tries to grab them.

"But I can't leave you here Freddie! She's deranged!"

Inside Lily's House (Zach, Lily, Wendy)

"Where. Is. My. Sister?" Zach slowly asks as the trio of teens get to the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the bedrooms, and the bathroom where Lily's mom was filling the tub.

From upstairs and down the hall comes a call. "Liiiily? Is that you? Everything okay dear?"

Lily can tell from the sound of her mom's voice -- her parents are in their bedroom with the door open, watching TV or a movie. Sneaking past their door with Zach won't be easy!

Belinda is grabbing for Emily, she's about to seize hold of her -- when Fred suddenly flattens her, knocking her down and landing on her!

"Fred!" she shouts from beneath the boy, straining and struggling in underwearless, short skirt ways that make his teenaged boy mind E_X_P_L_O_D_E.

"Let me go! You don't understand!"

Emily runs to the side of the Range Rover as Freddie wrestles with his super-hot and bare-assed stepmom, and there she sees... she sees that the two large cases seem almost like large, clear-sided tackleboxes. They have twenty compartments each, with little doors on each compartment. And within each compartment, forty in total? Strange-looking creatures! Foot-long slugs, leeches or wriggling eels of some kind!

Fred, that's a raise on the grapple so you basically have Belinda Bound. So, right where you want her. Erm... um...
